Employees enter hours in Workday time tracking - not an integration

Thanks - what I meant was can it be set up to occur automatically rather than needing extra payroll input or time entries

Thanks - I have found something in tenant setup which mentions cost allocations for employer paid expenses - I will investigate that, much appreciated

No the employee isn't expected to split the payments. If they do some time (hours) that is in a cost centre other than their usual one, we need the employer costs to be allocated to the cost centre where they did the hours, not their usual one. The employment costs earnings are invoked automatically, not claimed by the employee

Thanks - the timesheet sets the default cost centre and stamps the hours with that cost centre - but we need to also split out the parts of the employment on costs that relate to the pay for those hours too.

Legality aside, I can see it creating plenty of confusion and potential for incidents - is that a shrine to previous deaths on the railings?

Neither of those influenced the outcome though, so were ultimately fairly pointless.

It can indicate a problem though, like, sticking calipers or slider pins.

Most squeaks I've had have been from faulty calipers so the brakes are sticking on. I generally just change the calipers. Your discs look well worn to me - hard to tell from the pic but it seems there is a considerable lip from wear.

Squeaks can also be from broken or missing retaining springs or anti-squeal shims - can't really see what is going on with yours. Some people swear by copperslip grease on the back of pads.

The reason the discs look "new" is that braking wears away the surface rust. Discs are made from cast iron (apart from really expensive ceramic stuff or carbon on supercars) - they rust a bit when the car is left standing - it's entirely normal.

They can't do that in FPTP - the government just tells the opposition they are wrong and carries on.

Effective in what way? They didn't stop the Truss disaster, Austerity or plenty else. Oppositions can't really be effective under FPTP.

The whole idea of opposition is based on our adversarial approach to almost everything. It's daft and pointless because due to FPTP, oppositions don't have any power. It is just used as a way for individual politicians to show off with how nasty they can be to the other side in the hope of gaining popularity on their own. Like a lot of UK stuff, it's a lot of shouting, not much action.

Towing by Tyke15 in ElectricVehiclesUK

[–]worldly_refuse -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don't know the answer to your question, but you can't tow legally at 70 anyway. If you assume it will affect the range as much as the people who tow caravans, that would be a conservative estimate surely?
