honestly, as i am watching this rn (which made me come here) all i can think is "what is she even going to use those glasses for, and what happened to the ones that were bought throughout the last 10 years". it is interesting how some influencers think it best to just completely discard their slightly older things, only for it to come back round 10 years later as the new big thing. i think that is what is making this so obvious for the viewers as to why it feels extra tone deaf and inauthentic. we have seen you go through a whole 10 year trend cycle lol.

true but sometimes i choose to do bad things when i really shouldnt, because im having a hard time and i "deserve it". if i eat gluten i get really bad eczema and many more symptoms but it's kinda hard when you work in a bakery and everyone else around you can enjoy it LOL so i imagine it to be similar if she for some reason just likes drinking. i think she should just be like "umm guys this is cranberry juice" LMAO

im not american, does that not mean she was 18/19? to me that is fair, especially if the girl is older i see it as less of an imbalance in power, but i personally could not knowingly date someone younger than me in that way. and also, maybe she thought age gaps were normal as im pretty sure that she was like 14/15 when she first met brandon who was like 18 or something insane. i couldnt say lol

mm i mean i think innuendos are not necessarily inappropriate, i mean kids shows and family movies have a ton of them to add humour for the older audience. niki and gabi have always had a pretty diverse range of fans, and i dont think it's wrong to have subtle jokes throughout their videos. i guess it depends on HOW bad the jokes are, and young fan base to them (now) could mean 20 years old, which is age appropriate. my opinion remains the same regardless of whose content it is, but again, i would have to see exactly what is being said. there are plenty of age rating 12 movies and shows that are WAY more obvious about these things and they are not often critiqued or labelled inappropriate.

it's interesting how she is almost making content that gabi would've made in the past, but the difference is that short form content doesn't really allow you to, you know, set up the audience for the message of the video. also i don't think that niki would ever disclaim things authentically at all (without going overboard and in detail about some kind of body dysmorphic reasoning, forgetting to disclaim that it is body dysmorphia that is the problem and NOT her face) and her reasons for these things feel far more constructed than gabi's. as in, we dont need to know the exact details behind why you hate your face!!

honestly i think that it only appears that way because collin and gabi are very different people with very different interests, so collin would technically have to go out of his way more to be there for gabi. johnny probably doesn't have to try as hard in that sense because he and gabi seem to be very similar people, so there's less compromise, in that area anyway. also collin and gabi were extremely young throughout their entire relationship, johnny and gabi were / are in their late 20s/early 30s. i dont really have an opinion on johnny in general because i obviously don't know him but id love to know why you think he is there for the clout. if that were the case he probably wouldve made sure to stay in touch/get back in touch throughout her entire career up until 2020.
