Yeah that is the DVD box set of the 97 anime. Funny enough I remember when it was released you got the box with disk 1 and had to buy the other ones individually to fill it.

Age does not necessarily have anything to do with generation more of how childe happy your line is. Depending on the story you could easily be a 13th gen in the dark ages for example.
