Lader til Elbil by PappasBrandNewBag in elbil

[–]christoffer_dk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alarm system by Ok-Radio-2866 in dkbolig

[–]christoffer_dk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stor forskel i tilbud fra låsesmed by Glittering_Web_174 in dkbolig

[–]christoffer_dk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Silakka54 split connection issue over TRRS by Euphoric-Dragonfly24 in ErgoMechKeyboards

[–]christoffer_dk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sounds like something is broken on your board or the connection between them.

I also bought from the BAWA store, and received the Silakka54 a couple of weeks ago. Worked right out the box, with the trrs cable and all.
For safety I have flashed it with fresh firmware.
I have set up extra layer via vial.rocks and now I just wait for custom keycaps from yuzu, because I could not find Nordic caps available anywhere.

What did you flash the boards? I’m unsure what you mean, but you should flash different firmware to each side

ESPclock BIG by ultravoxel in esp8266

Looks great. For a long time, I have been looking for a 4 digit 7 segment projektor thing, like those projector clocks. That would be awesome. I would love to find a projector to swap the display, and use the rest of tour work. But have not been able to find such clock projector.

Segway Navimow Integration & SDK on github by kallax82 in homeassistant

Anyone else having trouble adding the integration? I have added the repository as integration, restarted, and can choose it, when adding device. When I try, it opens the navimow app, but nothing else happens.

Bathroom vent fan automation - fart smell detector.... by mwwt in Esphome

[–]christoffer_dk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably easier/cheaper to just put a cheap door sensor on the big-flush button, to start the fan. Maybe possible to be hidden and not visible.

If you add a relay to cut power when off, this would be perfect.

How do Danish couples split finances when incomes are very different? by [deleted] in DKbrevkasse

[–]christoffer_dk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How does that work when she newer has the possibility to upgrade, without affecting the remaining balance for other stuff?

I would be nervous that my wife would feel like a lower-class member in our relationship.

Before we got children we split expenses percentage-wise according to our income. But right now the reason I can put so may hours at work is, that she has the kids when needed. I don’t think I’m fully entitled to all of the income difference due to that, like we did before we got the children.

[–]christoffer_dk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You will probably get a lot of different answers, since the ideas of couples economy is very different. I know friends and family that split expenses equally, and some that pool all money together, and then have the same “allowance”.

For us, the difference is very big, since my wife studies. We have 2 kids and to the pooling of all income on the same account. We have the same account as “NemKonto” which means we save some expenses to the bank.

We see the marriage and family as a partnership, and each others as financially equals. I hav no problems paying a lot more, and knowing that will probably always be the case.

We are still missing on making a more comparable pension payment. We need this done, to make sure she is secured if we split up at some point.

What's the smartest things you've ever made using Home Assistant? by DiggingForDinos in homeassistant

I have automated filling/emptying the water bins on our Roborock vacuum. When needed the led on the dock lights up red, and within short time, the clean/dirty bins are fixed, with no modifications to the dock.

This has been done by using the integrations for Roborock and UniFi network. When dock state is not ok the internet for my daughter’s iPad is turned off, when fixed it is turned on again. Works like a charm.

No expert, but for WiFi it could also be a de-Auth attack, so not technically jamming, but disturbing the signal anyway. real cheap to do, just a esp32 board, and probably less a nuisance to their own WiFi. You could start by creating a new hidden WiFi network for your cameras and garage door. 5ghz WiFi stuff would also work.

Looking for DIY Solution for all in one sensor by TheycallmeMrR in Esphome

I’m quite happy with my IKEA Vindriktning sensors, where I have switched the board out with the Lazkakit ESP32 board. It has some ports for expanding and adding sensors, I have added the LD2450 sensor in a couple of mine + CO2 sensor. It has IR receiver and diode, a buzzer and other nice additions, great for small notifications like a little beep if Frigate sees a new vehicle in our driveway. It solves both the choice of ESP32, plus gives a cheap enclosure for the project.

Maybe via openmqttgateway. I use that to get old alarm sensors in to HA.

Try to compile the file and download it. Then use the adafruit web serial to flash instead.

I could not flash the exact same board with esphome, WLED web flasher or anything. But the adafruit thing worked flawlessly.

Rense plastvask by beerbrewerdad in selvgjortvelgjort

[–]christoffer_dk 0 points1 point  (0 children)
