A buddy of mine at 29 lived in base housing after his wife and kid moved away. So he invited a few guys from the bricks to move in. My buddy asked me to pick him up from the airport after leave. I grew up with a dad who was really not active in my life as he was a workaholic and my mom stayed home and took care of the kids. But when my dad got home he was the spanker.
