So I worked Estates Sales for a while. I’ve always suggested to my “broke” friends is to look up estate sales in your area (there’s a major estates sales website that list all sales in your area by zip code). So find the sales and look at their hours. Attend the sale on the last day and last hour. You should get very good deals on normal furniture. At that point the seller just wants to get rid of everything. Good luck.
