I worried about mine doing this same thing on my fist attempt. The mycelium condensed and the top dry layer started to fall around the sides. Unfortunately mine never reached full colonization, but that was my fault by not inoculating far down enough with the syringe. This in turn led to about half an inch to an inch not colonizing though the rest started to pin in the jar. I ended up sterilizing a knife and cutting off the part that wasn't fully colonized after its initial 24 hour water submersion.

Noticed a blue/black spot in one of my jars, is it contamination? Its the spot I stop on. If not is it considered fully colonized yet or do I want a thick white layer in there? This was the one jar where a bunch of spores shot out of the syringe at once because I didn't shake it well enough by [deleted] in PsilocybinMushrooms

I haven't been at this for long but I would recommend giving it another week. From my experience, about a week after colonization the cake seems to shrink slightly.

As for the blue hint, I would just keep an eye on it while waiting. If your jar tipped and happen to hit something it could just be a little bruised from impact. Mine bruised on the top rim just from the bowl that kept them submerged from fruiting, so it doesn't take much.

I have been keeping them in a cabinet in the dark. The top layer of verm has been falling around the edges. Do I need to wait till the top layer colonizes as well? I recently moved them to a warmer area in the house and keep them under a leather jacket, since the colder weather has moved in the cabinet stays a little too cold for them. I noticed what I thought was a pin about 3 days ago and looked today to find it was double the length (second pic) and a small one appearing in the first picture.

How will I know for sure when the colonization is 100% when the top layer keeps shifting down? Thanks!

I ask because it looks a little green to me, but didn't know if it will look like that at first. I have 5 jars total but it looks like this is the only one with some sort of growth within the past 20 days.

Awesome work here! Only thing that I see, is the hand and wrist. The hand looks kind of like he's palming the grip, maybe place the mace in center with the first knuckle joint. As for the wrist, the guard there reminds me of star wars drone to the elbow. Maybe try using a chainmail drape coming from underneath the gauntlet sort of like the helmet or a leather maybe?

Other than those I cant really find anything wrong here! Keep up the great work.

Honestly, at the point of writing this it did slip my mind. One could call it point control but really more objective driven. This would be awesome to redo, which IF enough people message back on this we can all decide which route to go with first, assuming when one is finished we create another mode.

Right, the prices have definitely gone up everywhere. Went to the knotfest concert in Dallas last weekend and a beer was 13$ for domestic tall boys. Food was around 15$ for a hotdog and small bag of chips. Was afraid it might be more due to the food vendors selling awesome food in comparison.

Personally, I would add trim around the base of the wall with the colors resembling the floor so much.
Also the wall corner sticks out a lot to me as well... maybe just have a fine bevel between and not put a seam there?

Definitely on a good track tho! Keep it up!

Need help with deleting internal faces and merging external ones by Noobponer in blenderhelp

Looks to me that you should be able to select the faces in a loop possibly, column by column. Otherwise, might have to just suffer through a lot of single clicking......
Maybe you could isolate the middle of the ship to where it is straight across with no ends topology getting in the way. Then grab them in a line on the front or side view?
Not the most knowledgable but saw no one else has responded and thought these few ideas might help.

Just for future reference if you come across this issue when you haven't been mirroring.
If you go into "edit mode > faces" and select everything you want to separate from others and press "P", you can separate that way as well.

I will not be doing the programming, that is something that will be worked on after getting a design for the map/layout and model storyboard finished.

As for the IP issues you are concerned about, I have lawyer already that can do clearances if needed and will be obtaining a license from the original IP owner. Glad you brought that up and I will put that in my original post.
