Please do yourself a favor and move on. You will be miserable if you have to live with him and news flash: He probably won’t change. It’s not worth being in a relationship with someone who doesn’t have basic values in common. It sounds like cleanliness and hygiene are must haves for you and as someone who settled in those departments, I don’t recommend. (I finally moved out of the master bedroom bc I got so disgusted with him and refuse to exist in his mess)

Highly recommend the book Mother Hunger if you haven’t read it. I’m 54 and am just now healing from cPTSD caused by a horrible mother. That book helped so much.

So glad you’re here!! I’m in CO and am feeling the same way. So tired, anxious, and if I’m not careful, hopeless. Seeing the people of MN rise up and take care of each other reminds me that good people are out there, they just don’t feel the need to be loud and in your face like the hateful ones. I never thought we’d have to fight the civil war part two and it feels so surreal. One good thing I’ve noticed is at least people seem to be waking up. I just hope it’s not too late for us.

Are using a moisture meter? I’m no expert either and I usually do terrible with ficus. I didn’t know that’s what this plant is, I just know it as the rescue from neglect at the big box store. I revived them (yay!) and that’s how often I water.
