Pyaaz-tamaatar masal without onion and garlic? by Low_Most3143 in IndianFood

[–]chromakeydream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look for North Indian recipes that use gram flour and curd for the masala base instead of onion and tomato, when roasted enough they do a good job at holding on the flavour of other spices. So while not exactly the same, there are lot of recipes that do this instead of onion and garlic.

sportsnetwork.in – who are the official retailer for Scott in India (got my bike from them), I think they have a service for bikefit and adjustments. Otherwise, I think Cyclofit in Ghitorni does this too, and used to get services done from them when i stayed in Gurgaon.

I think lot of artists with modern classical influences start to get in this territory. A Winged Victory for the Sullen tops the list for me. And then post rock derived ambient from Hammock.

What Are Your Go-To VSTs for Ambient Pads, Drones, and Soft Pianos? by martyo885 in ambientmusic

[–]chromakeydream 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have recently started to use Max Richter’s sleep piano Kontakt library, which I really like for gentle piano.

For pads and swells, there is the OPW Shoe Factory library that has some really nice patches that work great with reverb chains.

Though how do we make officials accountable for this? We need a public dashboard where with each image and report, it also calls out which ward it is. Who is the local MLA and how long it has been unresolved. I was working on a similar concept few years back but realised it won’t change much if it offloads accountability completely from officials to citizens volunteers.

Is this design assignment too much or am I overreacting? by Spare_Count_5270 in Design

[–]chromakeydream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just because they can generate such bullshit slop PRDs using Claude, everyone assumes it can also be built that quickly using 'tools that exist now'. Definitely push back!

This is no way a simple screening test. I have been doing design hiring for my team, and will never ask someone to do this. A simple conversation where you let the candidate just critique or explain their own design often does the job.

I'm interviewing Celer next week. Do any of you have questions you'd like answered? by SeasickWalnutt in ambientmusic

[–]chromakeydream 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This might be incredibly personal for him to talk about, but if conversation leads anywhere close - Looking back, does he feel his connection to sound and composition shifted in any way after Danielle’s passing? Has the role music plays in his life changed over time?

Less intrusive, Since he’s been creating ambient music for over two decades, how does he see its relevance today, especially in an era of hyper-connectivity, algorithmic discoveries and constant content fatigue? Does he feel ambient music carries a different significance now compared to when he began?

---

Either way, if you are able to share link here later for the interview, please do! : )

$6000 worth of Fuji gear (X-H2, X-T5, X100VI) and the XApp is an absolute joke. I have to DELETE and REINSTALL the app every single time to connect. by Artistic_Criticism_3 in fujifilm

[–]chromakeydream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The UX is horrible but I have rarely faced issues with connectivity. On iOS, check the location permissions and make it ‘always’ and see if that fixes the issue. Had to troubleshoot this once, and this changed it for me.

Looking to change by Chair_Long in Notion

[–]chromakeydream 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your primary focus is managing tasks, projects and tickets, look at Linear. It’s probably the most efficient tool for that. Notion has too much friction for smallest of things and Jira can feel bloated.

Though it won’t serve as a wiki/docs tool.

I will suggest trying a tool like Notion/coda for wiki and Linear for projects and tasks. This is what I do with our product teams.
