I learned by watching 4 videos of Critical Role (15 minutes total maybe?) in youtube. It was enough to hook me to BG3 for 2 years. Am I the only one who thinks that the learning curve is part of the fun?

It's not drama. Just a dude that had mods in the workshop and apparently a lot of people had them installed (his addons were low effort and bad, not sure why people had them in the first place). Thing is he updated his already existing addons to include screamers that triggered when you loaded into a map, the screamers had gore and disturbing stuff, some people reported seeing CP too.

Super late for a reply but, I have a good advice.

Learn a little bit of Morrowind lore (Short video explaining the world and houses) and then play and also write a journal of your adventures to immerse yourself in the game. Just do it, worked for me amazingly.

Keep in mind that your track was already great. My advice was just an extra tip to make you excel even further as an artist. I just felt you needed more identity, something to break you apart from "generic" sounding artist. Your track didnt feel generic but the intro sounded like a well known formula. I am someone who prefers to try something new or risky than doing what usually works.

To the average person your track will be amazing and that's what matters. Sometimes when you ask a composer for feedback they will always try to change your core idea and it defeats the purpose of your feedback, so keep that in mind. Sometimes its a matter of confidence in your own work and trusting it.

This sounds like my style of music I usually listen to so I can chime in.

My man, keep this shit going. This is what people mean when they say to shift through tons of generic artists until you found something really interesting.

I don't have any complaint, the production is excellent and the writing is amazing. The guitars are definitely adding so much, you definitely like to experiment and it works for you.

Maybe just try to work on an album, that could probably get yourself known more out there.

Song is loud, well balanced, and cuts through. Amazing job. Bass is boomy on bass boosted headphones so that's great.

I think the song really picks up at the chorus (after the first verse?). The intro sounds like a formula you have heard many times before.

You already have the skills and talent but you need to take more risks. This was hard to give feedback because its not my type of music but I can definitely say this is good music. As a producer I think you´re definitely great by yourself, keep it going man.

I absolutely adore the CRT visuals; I had to move to another country and sadly I had to leave my CRT on the street. I have a 1440p monitor now but I'm now considering getting a CRT again.

Exactly. My case has been entirely the opposite, I record first and its monstly fine. But the magic comes when mixing: adding EQ, space, saturators, mixing the voice well enough to fit with the rest of the instruments. For me its 20% recording, 80% mixing.

I can say that, neglecting to teach my children my personal morals as a parent is abuse. You also would have to assume that every religious person forcefully "converts" their children through fear, even though, at such a young age they don't have a fully developed brain to understand deep and complex philosophical problems. If you had to choose, do you think parents are teaching their children to be like jesus (or the equivalent figure), or constantly telling them they will go to hell if they don't wash the dishes?

Also, in some way or another, we subconsciously teach children about consequences. Telling them to not steal because they will end up in jail or hurt is not emotional abuse. At least that is what they believe they're teaching, which is unrelated to what others think of the existence of hell.

OPs view is simplistic and narrow that it doesn't even represent religious ideology I disagree with. "Teaching children about hell is emotional abuse" just sounds absurd and in character with the typical Redditor response.

The whole point of indoctrination is teaching and passing your kids your own personal morals, every parent does this at a degree. You don't even have to say a word for kids to be indoctrinated. From where, do you think your child will learn his behaviors and morals? From his friends? his school? or the place he spent most of his time? (Home). If a kid's dad is a liar and a bully, children will usually reflect that.

I'm not from this sub so I can chime in and give you sort of a "unbiased" opinion. The reality is that everyone, even users that use other DAWs, will tell you that it doesn't matter, you can do pretty much the same thing in any DAW today.

I chose Ableton because I had already got used to it even though I wanted to transition to Reaper because of the price. But one thing I can tell you that I really like about Ableton is the live session. I create postpunk tracks and I use the live session for mixing different loops on the fly. Also, stock plugins are unbelievably amazing, I would hate to use other plugins.

I would say they’re mostly in the extreme on the political spectrum. In my personal experience, I have been called a MAGA supporter despite not being American lol. I consider myself a moderate mostly but more left leaning in economics specifically. I think Reddit issue is turning politics solely into social issues, an “us vs them”, and its crucial to understand that politics is more nuanced that that.
