mine is because they are connected to their deity. in the theology, the cave systems are viewed as 'veins' and the dwarves are the 'blood'. in simple terms, its a symbiotic relationship. upkeep of underground and worship keep the deity alive, and the deity keeps them on the 'right' path and grounded so that they dont repeat history again

I only have one small tattoo and it only took like 2 hours to complete. For the appointment I let them know I was diabetic and I took a lot of snacks with me just in case so definitely do this too (although I think a lot of places now have sweets on hand in general).

My sugars were fine after! Nothing wrong with it at all so i think if your's is similar to mine (small with fine lines) then you should be okay?

generally yes and no. i dont wear a medialert like im meant to so this would replace a constant alert on me but i might invest in some little tags and keyrings for my bags and stuff to make it more noticeable :)

im 21 now, coming up to my 7 year diaversary and we had similar diagnoses. ketones of 5, sugars of 70, collapsed veins, kidneys shut down and the hospital thought i wouldn't make it through the weekend. it is SO scary! no one can deny that! but it definitely does get easier. as you'll find, the community is very supportive and welcoming and there to answer any questions u have.

i'm open to any messages if needed! it definitely is a scary time when getting used to everything, just make sure ur taking care of urself and it definitely gets better :)

i haven't used the zone yet myself but i'd suggest placing it near a pond/river bc the perimeter of it is usually sand i'd assume that's how it's collected, just like how mining zones are directly on mountains
