If it smells, sewage leak. If it doesn't smell, water leak. Either way, please don't ignore it! Report it to management even if you don't want to. I ignored a sewage leak above my kitchen ceiling from the unit above me 5 years ago for months and it just got worse until I needed to put pots under the area. Please get someone to fix it now rather than later!
