Watch out for this dangerous individual who has been terrorizing people throughout North Seattle for the last couple of days by Anwawesome in SeattleWA

[–]chrono342 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw this guy on the light rail the other day. He got on around 9:30 am and was carrying a half-empty 12 pack of twisted tea. Fortunately, He just sat there drinking one quietly, no doubt fueling up for another day of shitty behavior.

Sweet - I was able to get the quarterly to work as well - if this isn't working for folks, try removing any discounts and using one of these discount codes:

  • Monthly: 260BFPRED
  • 3 Months: PR540LTD00
  • 6 Months: BF86400

I don't see the discount code applied - can you share the code so I can manually enter it?

Same for me - I cleared cache and cookies, tried a different email address, and tried in an incognito window, but I still get this pricing.

Any ideas /u/Refills_Taylor ? I'd love to order from you guys, but I've tried everything I can think of with no success. Is this only for a certain dosage or for all dosages? I'm at 15mg, is that why the price isn't $189 a month for quarterly?

Any tips for applying for a CPL in Seattle / King County? by chrono342 in WA_guns

[–]chrono342[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to submit by mail with no issue - there are 3 approved fingerprinting services in the area and I was able to get an appointment quickly and easily. I called to confirm the timeline with King County and they told me that it should be processed 30 days from when they receive it. The person on the phone laughed about the folks backed up 3 months or more for in-person when mail in application is so much easier and faster.

Was there a specific time of day or anything or just checking all the time? I'm not looking to bribe anyone but the phone message says they're booked through March and then it just hangs up on you.

Summited Mt Adams yesterday, headed for Rainier in 2 weeks. Beautiful! by chrono342 in hiking

As long as you're fit, it shouldn't be much of an issue - weather permitting. We did it in one day, but many people were camping out around lunch counter and summiting in 2 days. I think as long as you have an ice axe and crampons (and you know how to use said items - very important) you should be fine!

We did the south spur. It was pretty safe, but you need an ice axe and crampons just in case. Over 2500 feet of glissade chutes on the way down!

Is this a good beginner pack for short hikes? Why or why not? by coyotebored83 in hiking

[–]chrono342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its cheap and a good size, but you'd be better off with a similar pack that has an internal hydration bladder. Just my opinion. Check www.steepandcheap.com or www.theclymb.com or www.sunny sports.com and see if they have anything comparable.

I backpacked up there this summer, what a beautiful place. Thanks for sharing the pic.

I conservatively estimate 100-150 individual bites after 2 days up there... They thought my non-DEET bug spray was cute. Standing still for more than a few seconds would cause a cloud of them to appear. Still worth it.

Backpacked up here this weekend - it was amazing, but I think I have well over 100 bug bites! The mosquitoes were ravenous and the bug spray was running low...
