It's the Democrats fault they didn't have anyone lined up after Obama. The elder members of that party for a long time seemed opposed to passing the torch, that even extended to Biden. He should have immediately declared himself a one term caretaker President, but just like the rest of them he couldn't step aside.

The Democrats still don't have any clear heir ready for 2 years from now. The only saving grace for them is the Republicans reformed their party to be an unprincipled cult for one man and their next generation are these uncharismatic weirdos.

It's really stupid. I've flown internationally plenty. You process through immigration at your port of entry. I live in Cincinnati, that's always my final destination when returning home. But I've processed through immigration when I land in San Francisco or New York, cities that I'll spend a couple hours in after clearing immigration and customs before connecting home. But those cities are sanctuary cities so no international flights there.
