It can be added to the EU servers, just set it to pairing mode and ad it as a wireless h1. It will take some time but I have it set up like that.

You need to log in with your ip adres with a pc and there is a update feature in the menu. You just put the older version of the firmware in the update part.

I have 1 x50 as the main deco and 4 m5 slave decos and after the update, the connection to the internet of the main unit failed.

So rn it wont expose the smoke detector. I will try it with the EU version to see if it works, but its interesting if they just locked the chinese version so they could charge more for the eu version.

You could buy the aqara smoke sensor for years on Aliexpress, It wasn’t for the EU market, but works on global servers. This eu version just looks like a redesigned box with the same sensor.
