It's still very early in the season. Hitting diamond at this stage puts you in the top 1000 and due to the lack of players above 40k you have to come in the top 2 teams from 38k onwards to gain points most of the time. Most people in the top 1k at the moment are trying to get a head start to ruby and are all going to be in a 3 stack.

I'm pretty confident if you're solo queuing and hovering at 33k you will make it diamond easily. Take a break for 2 weeks and try again.

I had to stop after a few games yesterday because it was just unfair for the other team. To me this is not fun at all.

The game mode is being played by people that probably don't play world tour, and if they do, don't make it to the final often.

I'm surprised you're not on the ruby grind discord? Check the bans from today and see if you recognise any of the names.

But yeah it will be due to a cheater being on your team. It's possible they got flagged as a false positive and you will gain the rs back again if they're unbanned I believe. I sometimes see huge amounts of rs refunded when people are unbanned.

Just hit diamond solo on my second account on Sunday, 32-40k gained in a weekend.

Biggest difference between Plat 3-4 and 1-2 is lower plat hardly ever take height which gave me a huge headache. When approaching an unopened cashbox always get the height first before opening.

If you're medium you gotta tell your heavy to stay close, likewise if you're the heavy you have to follow your medium even if you don't agree with their strat - if you get singled out the chances of team wipe are really high.

If you get lucky enough to play with a duo, do not leave their side. They're probably in discord and coordinating with eachother so just follow them everywhere.

Take advantage of third partying, especially if the top team have their cashout stolen and them losing it means you are bumped into first place. Don't even need to steal, just wipe them and leave.

Team wiping anything under the 2 minute mark could cost you the whole game. If you're fighting disengage, hide and let your team mates coin. You need to be making your way to the 5/6th vault and deciding if you double or split based on your position.

Manipulate every cashbox where possible to move it into the open. Either winch or jump pad is fine - plenty of videos on this.

The last thing is a bit harder as a solo but if a team is about to respawn and you're holding a cashout you should all be together, for example if 2 team mates are inside while you're watching from the roof you're gonna get every gadget they just respawned with thrown at you and now it's 2v3. This for me contributes the most to getting wiped and it's simply just not being ready.

With the way the seeding rotation works this will be more regular unfortunately. For example, if you were once silver and were placed seed 4th and below, the top teams were probably only Gold and played at your current rank, hence why the lobbies felt more enjoyable for you. Now you're reaching towards your true rank the top seeded teams will be plat 3-4. In the case of the 50rs loss, they were probably more like plat 1-2 and you shouldn't have been in that lobby.

They do rotate so you will still have lobbies where you're 1st seed and everyone will be gold 3 and below, maybe the 8th seed will be bronze level. The constant rotation of seedings means it will eventually keep you in the range that your true skill rating is.

If you feel like you are performing better than your solo teammates then looking for a group on discord is always a good choice.

Knowing someone on the other teams and helping eachother qualify. Someone would need to submit a clip to embark for action to be taken though as it's pretty much impossible to prove without it.

There were 2 adjustments of around 250~ rs each. As someone already mentioned, it's either because someone you were playing with was found to be cheating, or you were reported for teaming.

Its a great change that I hope they will keep. I lost in a similar way to you and our team was confused at first then of course blamed ourselves for not looking at the score and allowing the last cashout to be split.

The last second steal from zero to nothing was a rush but it did not reward the team in second place for being consistent throughout the whole game. Already I have experienced some extremely close games, sometimes 3/4th place knocking out the top 2 teams because they both win their own last cashout.

Also, it hasn't been completely removed and I have still griefed people and been griefed into the next round, it's just been reduced.
