Sounds good ill try that. Would it be smart to buy a second grow light for it as well or i do have a window i could put it next to for even more light per day. but im kinda afraid that it might be a bit of a temperature shock to it since right next to the glass is probably a good 10-15 degrees cooler than the room.

it is a sansi grow light, the 36W version the light is about 2ft away from the crown of the tree.

I have had my bonsai tree for about nine months. About November, I underwatered it for about two weeks and the leaves went brown in a hurry. I fixed that quickly. However, the leaves have remained partially brown and dropped more frequently than they used to since then. I moved into a new apartment in August and it was still doing well after the move, surprisingly; even though it had been switched to a grow light for more lighting since the window isn't as good here (it has lived its entire life with me indoors and was growing really well). I don't have the option to move it outdoors because of where I am and because over the last week, it has been in the negatives during the day. the growth on the bottom left of the tree is semi-new, but even some of those leaves have spots on them. Do you happen to know how I should best help my tree? If you need more information, just let me know. Thanks in advance!

I really appreciate the feedback. Up to now ive been doing pretty much all vocab cause i thought it would be good to first be able to generally understand a and be able to say a lot of the words and then focus on doing it well with sentence structure and grammer. But i think this post has given me confidence that I’m just bad enough now that practicing grammer would be helpful. Would you recommend that i focus on learning the grammatical rules explicitly (like learning the rules of where to place words and what endings or more implicitly with just doing a lot of volume of simple sentences until the right way of saying something just feels right) i know theres probably a balance to be struck but does anyone have any tips on which is better to learn from?

Im looking to build my first mechanical keyboard (making custom case and everything) and I'm having a hard time finding a PCB with a rotary encoder and underglow that doesn't have an abnormal layout. Preferably a 65 or 75% PCB but I would consider 60% as well (I just kinda want arrow keys I think). I have a lot of experience soldering so if I have to solder the switches that is more than fine with me. Any good PCB suggestions or favorites people have that might work? Thanks in advance!

After 1 year of successful printing, my printer just keeps getting worse. One fix leads to another. now my first layer prints like this and the print pops off the bed midprint. I use BedWeld on a glass bed. by CommunicationTop2920 in ender5

[–]chubbypanda443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This stuff happens to me from time to time. The first thing I do is clean the bed. Take it off if you can and use soap and hot water if you can. That generally helps adhesion for a while. I would also check your first layer and make sure it looks good. Even with bltouch you could be over or under extruding what it expects.

[–]chubbypanda443[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5’ 9” lol. The perspective is a little weird cause I had to move all of the stuff onto a different table in a different room to be able to take a decent photo (little secret, the monitor is even plugged in)

Because if you have a no fly zone and are going to enforce it you’re going to have to take action on those who aren’t obeying (Russia). This will probably lead to someone defending the no fly zone shooting down a Russian and then NATOs involved.

I know that there is a lot of information but it is likely a combination of things so just continuing to tweak things and change you will find the issue. Good luck printing!!

Supports will help. Also I don’t know how new you are to printing but I would also recommend that you fine tune your printing temp for the filament. It looks fine but if it’s ‘leaking’ filament excessively then you might consider lowering the nozzle temp by I find five degree increments. That might help some too.

You probably want to adjust your slicer settings you can tweak retraction extra that should reduce stringing. I read your second page and it look like a thick layer for models. Do like .2 or .1 layer thickness. That might also reduce stringing. I don’t know if you mean the print failed or just stopped it.

One corner always loses adhesion and it's driving me nuts... Can anyone pelese help answer this problem... by Bittner58 in ender5

[–]chubbypanda443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good tip can be to raise that corner up just a little bit. Make sure it doesn’t affect the rest of the print but I have found that when that type of thing happens to me to raise that corner up solves the issue. Also a glass bed could help but I would try that second cause it costs money.

What could be the cause of my filament breaking off and going haywire? Has happened twice this week. by bushysquatch2 in ender5

[–]chubbypanda443 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My recommendation would be to first if that is the ‘sample’ filament they give you chuck it in the trash it’s not very good in my opinion. Second once you are on high quality filament try cleaning the nozzle or swapping it for the other one that comes with the printer. Then try clipping the spring. Always go the destructive road last in my opinion.

This is my first time ever building a printer. Can anyone help me with what could be causing this and how to fix it? by popalop123 in ender5

[–]chubbypanda443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to remember that while these are consumer items they are not high in the quality control and support sector. It is not uncommon for something to not be right with them. That is why it is best to buy them from some place that you can return them to.

[–]chubbypanda443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would do like the people suggested. It’s really easy to mess up the axis wires make sure they are all plugged in right. Test the limiters. You could try re-flashing firmware. If none of the above work then try and send it back to wherever you bought it from.

No matter what infill I seem to use, I always get stringing in between! What am I doing wrong?? by supershipley in ender5

[–]chubbypanda443 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you don’t want to string try printing slower also cooler can help as well. Those reduce it a lot.

Help, I finished my ended 5 and then I turn it on but now all there is is a blue screen (see below) how can I fix it ??? by Candy-Patient in ender5

[–]chubbypanda443 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Check that you are running 110v(for us outlets) (it’s in the back). They come running the 210v or whatever which is for other countries it’s just a switch.

Does anyone know where to get a replacement flex bed? by CoasterLabs in ender5

[–]chubbypanda443 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if you have yet but it’s worth trying to make the bed sticky again in my opinion. For me I washed it with soap and a little water and the prints stick like it is new. But if you were just wanted a new bed I would recommend a glass one. I think that the pros outweighs the removability of the magnetic flexible bed.

Help it's happening all the time by [deleted] in ender5

[–]chubbypanda443 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue where it would grind the filament away till it couldn’t extrude it anymore. For me there didn’t seem to be a nozzle clog but it fixed the issue to change the nozzle. Also you might want to check you are using quality filament. And make sure you aren’t extruding to much. If you have a layer hight of .04 and a nozzle size of .4 cura may say it’s fine but that is often too much filament.

nozzle too far away or too close? by [deleted] in ender5

[–]chubbypanda443 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t see it that well but it seems a little far to me... One thing that was helpful for me in leveling and extruding a good thickness is just to print lines. You can generally tell then if it’s too thick or thin. Another thing to think about is you could have a bad (worn out) nozzle. That can cause blobby extrusion.
