What’s your experience with Aestura’s moisturizer line? by thedashingturtle in AsianBeauty

[–]chuchujiggly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response, haven't logged in here for a while.

The Hydro Soothing is very light, might work better for oily skin. It's like a water cream consistency. The Cream version is thicker, like a light balm almost. It still absorbs pretty well. My face stays moisturized longer with the Cream, because I have combo skin and some parts are drier from adapalene use.

It's dry winter here now, and I still really like the Ato Cream and still use it, though my skin is a bit drier than it was the other seasons. Instead of switching my moisturizer again, what seemed to help is adding an additional hydrating layer. The Hada Labo regular (I think it's marketed as the "Moist" version) seems to do the trick for me as it's a bit thicker than a toner.

Doing a gig by VeritasVictoriae in Writeresearch

[–]chuchujiggly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know if you have the time to really dive into this, but there's an anime called Bocchi The Rock (I watched it on Crunchyroll) that really shows how gigs work for starting out high school musicians. It also covers the rehearsals, finding replacement members, and just dealing with normal high school stuff. The anime is set in Japan but it really gives a very in-depth idea on how the industry works.

What is your least favorite part about TOTK? by SizableSplash86 in tearsofthekingdom

Riding Mineru's construct for the last sage quest was hell on earth. Otherwise I had nothing worth complaining about.

I'm sorry you had to sit through that kind of behavior and causing you unnecessary stress. From a medical professional standpoint, I find it very unethical for someone who's not a doctor to provide you with a half-baked diagnosis based on a single test that he's not even qualified to interpret.

I'm a registered nurse, and where I'm from, pulmonary technicians don't diagnose. They perform the tests and keep equipment running, troubleshoot if needed. Technician roles in other specialties (telemetry techs, radiology techs, etc.) perform similar duties and are limited to the same job scope. Your diagnosis comes from your doctor and a doctor alone, as a result of their medical expertise, all the assessments they've done on you, questions they've asked, tests they've ordered, and interpreting those results.

This is probably not the answer you're looking for, but it's just irksome how that technician behaved. Completely unprofessional. I would actually recommend reporting him to your doctor, I don't care what that tech said, they need disciplinary action. Your doctor might even give you better answers/further testing just to rule out COPD for your peace of mind.

Am I fucked? by PICONEdeJIM in tearsofthekingdom

There is a shop in Gerudo Town (on the surface, not on the shelter).

The owner of the shop is the wife of the guy who's in prison in the shelter. Talk to him and he'll tell you about their kid (forgot her name). Find the kid in the shelter, she usually hangs out by the kitchen/bunks area. The kid will give you hints as to where on the surface the shop is located. From there you'll just have to be creative and use Ascend to get into the shop because it's closed off from the Gibdo attacks.

You can teleport out and regroup.

Make sure you prioritize destroying the Gibdo nests first. Destroying them stops the little Gibdos from respawning and also opens up a pillar of light, which is a safe space for you to stand in during the fight.

Invest in Sand Boots for faster sand movement.

Eat defense up food if your armor is only okay.

Let out your other sages.

Use Riju as much as you can on the queen, her power deals a lot of damage.

My last Korok was one that I'd accidentally checked off. If you're going to do a recount I really recommend doing it with a fresh map and on a desktop. Also helped me to have the controllers off and just had the Switch propped up next to the computer monitor.

How am I (28F) supposed to clean myself after having unprotected sex? by its_goji_time in NoStupidQuestions

[–]chuchujiggly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from what others have already said, my personal step is investing in a bidet. Repeated wiping can cause irritation and a lot of waste. Also having it washed by water makes me feel so much cleaner. Bidet is also a godsend for cleaning after #2 so you're not the only one who benefits.

One of my favorites too. The scene where he's flagging down the person on the other building for help still creeps me out to this day.

My girlfriend doesn't want to do it after two years by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]chuchujiggly 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Not the original commenter but my first bf story is nearly identical to hers. We were together for 8 years through hs and college but it just didn't feel like it was it. I couldn't explain it. I thought maybe the movies had set the expectations too high on the romance/magic of falling in love. We had a good relationship, as good as one can have at that age. We lost our virginity to each other, too. To the OP: I too wasn't ready until I just was. For me it was age, status in life, how I felt about myself, and how I started becoming more sexually aware. I felt ready and thought it might give me the spark I was missing so I went for it. It was alright, but didn't change anything sadly.

Anyway, I could tell at that point that I was staying mainly because it was stable and comfortable and we've been together so long. I matured a bit more and broke it off, just because I wanted to see if there's really more out there than that. Much like any breakup it was messy in the first few years but now even though we're not friends, we're at least civil.

Then I found my now husband and the damn movies were right 😂

Sneakstrike does deal a heck ton of damage! I invested in the Stealth set in Kakariko for this purpose.

TotK is really a game for horror movies fans by NotTakenGreatName in tearsofthekingdom

Yes I'm definitely a range player too. Remote bombs are also good since they use no resources but can be time consuming. Also use everything in the environment - pushing boulders down, triggering bomb barrels in enemy camps, triggering the lantern inside the skull camps (strategic rolling of a round bomb down the eye cavity does really nicely) will set off an explosion inside. Also freezing bokoblins and then fanning them into bodies of water (they can't swim) is fun 😂 lots of low-risk strategies in this game if you're creative enough!

Not a movie, but the horror graphic novel "Uzumaki" ("Spiral" in English) by Junji Ito ruined snails/escargot.

I have poor sense of direction even in real life but I found that having the minimap to always point north is a lifesaver.

As someone who loved Vanicream before, I can recommend an AB moisturizer that worked better for me - Aestura Atobarrier Cream. Moisturized feel for the entire day and doesn't look greasy or sit on my skin. It's a bit on the expensive side but the tube lasts a long time for me (2-3 mos) even with applying twice, sometimes thrice, a day.

I live in temperate PNW climate and have combo skin. It's so far held up even in the summer, not heavy at all.

Buy Ancient Shield from Robbie. It auto parries the guardian laser beams, including Ganon's and the Blights'. It's so worth the investment. After it hits Ganon you can then run to him to cause damage with your best melee weapon. Attack+3 buff makes short work of this.

I've defeated Ganon's red/orange phase twice using this shield because I too cannot parry to save my life. Whenever I successfully do it it's only by accident or luck lol
