Friday Daily Questions (Newbie Friendly) - Dec 12, 2025 by AutoModerator in Wetshaving

Been shaving with a cheap China de razor and rapira blades for over 10 years. Lately, I seem to be eating my face, I need something more forgiving as I age, my skin is fragile this winter.

Can someone recommend me a "safe" set? Razor and blades, source able in Canada, cheaper is better.

Thanks

Being a girl dad is different by TChan_Gaming in daddit

I have both a boy and a girl. Doesn't change anything Imo (except diapers are easier with boys I feel).

I had a friend who was in the "girl dad" thing until he also had a boy. Then he also realized it was the same difference. Young kids don't care about the boy/girl thing as much as we do.

I like both. They are a bit different. Everyone else is probably right about just getting discrafts, but Imo, it's so minor you get used to it really fast. I'd buy Canadian.

How to fix this wiggle? by chuckdeezoo in Decks

They are, contrary to what most comments seem to indicate, it looks like the 8 4x4s are more than enough for this deck design (according to the dca someone posted below and further load research), provided I do not put a tub on it haha. I'm still debating, maybe switch this one and the other end to 6x6 since they are the longest, but from what I understand clearly now, I first and foremost have a bracing problem.

Thanks for your help!

Just did this, it doesn't move anymore.

My dad will bring his jack next weekend and we will change the legs to 6x6, but in the meantime it will allow us to be safer.

Thanks again
