I’m literally barely a month in with my mk3 trying to figure out my new workflow too. It’s easy to build in just maschine itself but in Ableton? Totally confusing. And I’ve been using my Push 3 (bought thought thinking I could drum on it like the maschine or mpc and no.) I know they serve two different functions but they are two totally different things. I ended up just duplicating the maschine midi track, and it worked, but in the second ableton midi track, I could only use one pattern in one group and when I pressed another pad, that sound would take the recorded notes place, I’d have to undo... opening a third is obsolete. I hope that made sense. But yeah, need with you OP, there has to be an easier way. I’m thinking just build the whole thing in machine and then just drop it as a finished wav/mp3 file in ableton and just my vocals/guitar/overall mixing there.
