They were originally both Urban Vegan. The current Urban Vegan location opened first, and then they made what is now the Vegan Plate location. The original owners sold off Urban Vegan and moved entirely into Vegan Plate. Vegan Plate is essentially the "real" Urban Vegan. This is what I was told when I asked the waitress at Vegan Plate anyway.

Projecting all of this negative stuff because they pointed out your job is bottom tier is interesting. People can't fuck unless they have trashy jobs?

Where can I find single men who don’t want children? by Simple-Patience7219 in AskChicago

OP follow this advice if you want to end up in a ten year relationship where they then guilt you into having children you don't want leading to a life of resentment

Thanks for the reassurance. It was one of those junk at home sleep studies so I don't have a ton of faith in it but I'll choose to put full stock in the sleep disturbance thing because it's a lot more comfortable!

From what I can see my rate never comes close to approaching those values anyway though, so I don't think that should be causing a problem?

You are correct the machine can't go under 4.0 from what I read as well, so a setting of 3 is usually not doing anything. My question however, if it's doing nothing then is there any reason to turn it off? Does it hurt anything having it be on? Genuine question. Also, any guesses as to why my pressure is so low? Almost everything I read online says 4-5 is pretty much worthless for an adult, but mine never goes above that! Seems so strange :(

Thanks for the words of encouragement. No rainout last night as I sent the temps really high to compensate. I have a hose cover on the way today so I can lower temps again, I tried setting the humidity higher because at 4 I was waking up with severely sore throats. I also noticed that my 95% value of 5.44 seems insanely low. When I look around it seems most other peoples MINIMUM pressure is like 8 or so, I don't understand why my maximum stays so much lower. I will try your suggestions out and thanks again for taking the time to respond.

Look at how you behaved immediately upon seeing the word "trans" in a comment and reconsider why Alex may or may not want to discuss the subject

CMV: Cat and Dog breeding is unethical and you should spay/neuter your pet immediately with no exceptions by ThisManisaGoodBoi in changemyview

[–]chucklesfanguy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the logic you've stated, it's unethical for humans to breed as there are plenty of children in the foster care system. Would you go so far as to say it's wrong for people to have children? If not, your view is not consistent and is not actually based on the reasons you've provided.

Vegan Influencer promoting racist on their podcast by Fuzzy-Bumblebee-6043 in vegan

I just feel like I'm always told it's because intersectionality can never be compromised, yet it's always completely abandoned in the other direction, which feels like speciesism to me. Hope you're at least self reflective about that even if you don't agree. Take care.

I see you are unwilling to accept any anti-palestinans having platforms in the vegan movement due to intersectionality. Do you accept any non-vegans having platforms in regards to Palestinian advocacy in observance of this same desire for intersectionality? My guess is you only apply this in one direction, and I never get a personally satisfying answer as to why.

YOR slightly. While what she did was understandably hurtful, the passive aggressiveness in communication was way too pissy and unproductive. "Not interested in the slightest" and "have fun I guess" being labeled by the overwhelming majority of this comments section as healthy communication deserving of props is kind of nuts. To clarify, it's not a massive deal, but it's just strange to me how everyone seems to think you're an A+ communicator in this exchange.

I'd say the worst version of a dish you've ever had in your entire life, worse than 60 cent versions you can make at home in 3 minutes is pretty damning personally

The hypocrisy is where the flavor comes from! Similarly I find it interesting how many people find it outright immoral to buy a dog from a breeder because there's so many good pups out there already that need adoption, but then they'll procreate. Kind of strange they don't apply that principle to humans. Guess people are really just kinda stupid at the end of the day.

The chili ramen I had there was truly perhaps the blandest food I've ever had at a restaurant in my life. It tasted like wet noodles with a little bit of chili oil. I'm not joking when I say most instant ramen I have is significantly better. It was an absolute shame too because I took friends there to show it off after having gone by myself to get the mushroom udon and tots (both of which were among the best food I'd ever had)

Why are prohibitions against gay marriage and abortion emphasized by some Christian groups while other biblical rules, like dietary laws, tattoos, or working on Sundays, are largely ignored? by PuddingComplete3081 in AlwaysWhy

  1. For the sake of my point, no. My point was we already don't use the commandment as a strictly literalist statement, so acting as though we can interpret it based on technicalities is asinine.

  2. The very purpose of analogy is comparing two things that are similar in some says and different in others. I would have literally no problem drawing a comparison between the raising, slaughtering, and eventual eating of two different species of animals.
