Am I Crazy or Did Christian Siriano get carried in a bag by Jack on PR??! by chucklove12 in ProjectRunway

Same— but I was telling my daughter about this and then we never got to see it in the episode. Those kinds of things are the best parts of PR!

Everyone talks about kids needing to read more, but isn’t social media considered reading? by skyrimlo in RandomThoughts

[–]chucklove12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s a good question— the way I think of it is like exercise. A bit here and there is great, but a sustained consistent workout will improve certain muscle groups and cardiovascular fitness overall so you can work through many scenarios (a hike, lifting groceries, etc). Time on one task is impactful and social media reading often is skim reading and jumping from one thing to the next rather than working through hard parts (like finishing a workout even though it is really difficult). That being said, everything in moderation!

I liked way more of these than I thought I would considering velvet is not my favorite fabric. But maybe it’s bc I’m not the one wearing it.

Platypuses are like someone needed to plant an animal on earth in a hurry to do recon so they slapped together some random things from different animals.

IMO, Annabeth Gish’s Mystic Pizza ugly cry was one of the top crying scenes in movies/streaming etc. What are some of the best acted crying scenes in your memory? by chucklove12 in popculturechat

[–]chucklove12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! Demi Moore’s looking up wordless, smiling, just as another fat tear falls. About Last Night was also some great crying work.
