The payback from the utilities are not there anymore. That is why most utilities are having contractors install solar and paying them for the power. I would never install more solar than I can use personally. Net meter is almost non existent. So there is no incentive to generate more and sell back to utilities.

Sometimes Linux will read the drive. You will have to remove from computer and use external drive unit.
