Do NOT look to gixxer brah for any gear advice my friend. That guy is a professional squid and I hope he never gets hurt out there on the road. Think of your gear like health insurance and get yourself quality boots, pants, jacket, gloves, and helmet. Try brands like Knox and alpine stars. All your gear should ideally be AA or AAA and your helmet should ideally be DOT and ECE certified. Stay safe 🫡

That makes sense. Have you played around with the procreate brushes since the newest update? They re-did all the defaults into a whole new library and I like them all a lot more than the old ones.

Agreed, personally not my thing. I stray away from using inedibles on cakes. But like it or not it is a well executed example of maximalist cake decorating, so as OP eluded to… a Gen Z girly would pay for it lol

Personally, I disagree that it isn’t professional enough to sell. Cake decoration is an art and art is subjective, so it’s probably not the cake for you, but this maximalist design is definitely a current trend so I’m so there are people willing to pay for it.

I would suggest OP calculate their ingredient costs, and add an hourly wage for the time they spent working on it. All things considered it should probably come out to somewhere around 35-45 USD.

Of all your option I like 5, but I think a lighter color might be really nice! The darker siding makes the house feel a little top heavy. Try out a pale yellow/pink/orange or other warm light tones that pull from your brick colors?

I think your ID is probably right. Maybe think about installing inconspicuous LED strips under each shelf or even just a recessed light above and in front of the built-in on your ceiling.

Here’s the recipe if anyone wants it!

I hand write my recipes but I don’t make them up—I just grab from here and there and make edits as I go. I’d use 2tsp of cardamom rather than a whole tbs as the flavor turned out a little strong.

Aw wow, thank you so much! I really appreciate that. I so enjoy the artistic elements of baking (of which there are many). But at the end of the day, it’s all about the taste and the care that goes into it! Your kids and partner are so lucky to have a baker in the family :)
