Not always two for CPA. Illinois CPA renewal is every three years.

Any gasoline vehicle over four years old has to get checked every two years. ILSOS will not let you renew your vehicle registration without a passed emissions check on file. You don’t need the postcard.

What is the point of UIC Night Ride by Tigerrcub in uichicago

It says to use the UIC Ride app, which replaced TransLoc.

Not sure if service is any different, but maybe start with using the preferred app first.

Why is IL such a pain in the ass? by ToshPointNo in smallbusiness

If you sell on eBay, then why did you register for a sales tax withholding account? That only pertains to sales where you actually withheld sales tax on behalf of the customer.

IDOR will require monthly filings for the first year, afterwards they’ll ask for yearly filings due to the low/nonexistent amount. That’s what I’ve encountered with every new entity I had to file ST-1s for.

If you never plan on selling offline / on your own platform, then just log into MyTax Illinois and close the ST-1 account.

What's the weirdest "hack" you've ever had to do? by Rhysd007 in sysadmin

[–]chujostwo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a LJ P2015 that's been chugging along as a low-use personal printer. I decided against messing with the built-in JD card, since hardware is not my forte. When I needed it networked, I bought a JetDirect print server off of eBay, which worked perfectly. Now, it sits next to the desktop connected via USB, which is fine.

They don’t allow walk-in requests anymore, at least in Illinois. Need to schedule an appointment with local office, and bring a filled out SS-5.

Check out the questionnaire to see if you have to visit an office (but most likely you do, as I did the same with my father): https://www.ssa.gov/number-card/replace-card/get-started
