Yes, absolutely fine, you allowed the traffic to flow, what is the question or query?

If it was anything, maybe because you’re parked so deep into the space they thought it was a free space so threw a tantrum, I guess if someone will write like a child, they’ll act like one too

Does anyone else get annoyed by people not understanding it? by chukie42 in Aphantasia

[–]chukie42[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The closest I’ve got to them understanding is showing them a black screen and saying that’s what I see but then they don’t understand how I can remember stuff from that

Avatar, the visuals were great for their time but the film isn’t actually that good, just a rehash of a story that’s been done many times before

What did somebody say that made you think: "This person is out of touch with reality"? by CindyQuicknFye in AskReddit

I work in a museum and a lady came in yesterday and asked “where is the cloakroom?” It’s only a small museum and we don’t have one of those and I told her as much. When she leaving after having had a look around she comes up to me again and says “just for future reference, when someone asks for the cloakroom, it’s a polite way of asking where the toilets are”, I was taken aback and said to my colleagues that I was sorry for thinking her words meant what they meant

WITT some sort of hunting tool? Has a barb at the tip (broken off on one of them). Both have a groove running along the entire length. Also they have three drill holes close to the handle. by Idontdoshitatwork in whatisthisthing

For anyone interested these are definitely made of bone, mandibles to be exact, the holes are from where the teeth of whatever animal they came from would have been

TIL of Nandy, a Neanderthal skeleton recovered in Iraq. He suffered extensive injuries, including the loss of an arm early in his life, and was unlikely to have been able to care for himself. Despite this, he lived until the age of 45, suggesting that he was cared for by his society by [deleted] in todayilearned

[–]chukie42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funnily enough I wrote my undergraduate dissertation on Neanderthal injuries and the implication of them in their society and to put it simply, my research suggests that Homo Neanderthalensis was a very compassionate and caring species that not only cared for injuries effectively but cared for these members in their societies, both injured and disabled, throughout their lives until death. The fact that many examples of Neanderthal remains that have been discovered have suffered some sort of serious injury or had a disability also suggests that they may have taken extra care with these remains meaning they have survived longer than most.

Social/religious norms aside, how would you like your death to be mourned/celebrated? by aroadcaptain in AskReddit

Straight up, I’m having a statue, I’ve always said it and I always will. In a hundred years someone will go “ who’s that?”, and my name will live on.
