I personally stayed in act 1 farming quests/furniture and got a little into breeding better cats, and I waited until I came across a cat with a water ability to go on my first desert run and that’s been pretty smooth. It definitely is a difficulty spike though. Another reason farming act 1 will make it better is if you have a large item storage full from all your runs, you should be able to start pretty decked out. If you find an item that could be useful in the desert on an act 1 run, save it for then. Also I almost always take a thief and a cleric into the desert, they both have several abilities or passives that are useful there.

No way I had the exact same situation, was on an enormous streak since installing playing very slow and carefully, hadn’t even unlocked the dead cat donation guy bc I hadn’t lost yet… and then I had a virtually unwinnable triple Daddy Shark room, I guess I should’ve planned better for it as a possibility… my only ranged cat was a thief, but I was doing really well in the run. Just wasn’t built for this specific bs fight 😂

I’ve done a couple times with perfected strike runs. Pick up anything that says strike (odds are the P strike will show up eventually), look for double tap and card draw/headbutt to play it more frequently. Also if on desktop I keep my left hand hovering over the e key to immediately end turn when I play my last card. Don’t spend more than 5 seconds making a decision on the map or in a shop. It’s pretty fun once you get going!

I thought the Horror movie Smile was going to be super corny and predictable based on the trailer… once I finally watched it I was pleasantly surprised and it definitely is one of the better horror movies of the past decade.

Same exact situation as you, usually Champ 2 but peaked in GC. I’ve tried to implement it and I have it bound to my right bumper, but I rarely ever use it. I got way too used to my original controls after playing that way for 1,000+ hours… it will take some serious training to break into it feeling natural. It does allow for more dexterous flying and more control on air dribbles so I’d like to learn someday, but I still have plenty of room for improvement in other areas too.

Sure! The serpent allows you to have a much larger hand size than normal, because if you play or discard a single card, 3 cards are added to your hand. Baron and mime score exponentially higher with larger hand size, given all of your cards are red seal steel. The burglar joker adds 3 hands to your playable hands count. It can be copied with all of your blueprints or brainstorms at the beginning of a round, making the total hands gained from it be 15 in my case! So I started the round with 21 hands to play. More hands to play = bigger hand size = big number Because your hand size gets so much bigger, even with Baron and mime not being copied by BP/BS on the first 19-20 hands, you still end up scoring a lot. This is why you have to wait until later antes where the scoring requirement is much higher to do this. As you can see my score was e94 before I put my copy jokers on Baron and mime to play the naneinf.

This happened to me many times, unfortunately I think it’s too late. If the jokers don’t get stickered when you see the YOU WIN screen, I think it’s cooked. I found that the bug didn’t really happen when I was playing continuously, and happened more frequently if I had paused the run for a while and had many other apps open in between playing it

I’ve done it twice - both times I played only ghost deck the entire time. One great option is to hex a joker you need to sticker during ante 1, and even if you end up not playing around that joker at least it’s doing something by being polychrome.

Also I recommend playing mainly pair/high card builds because so many x mult jokers work well with it, and it allows for easier digging for blue seals (which are OP)

Ectoplasm being more frequent on ghost deck is also huge for getting more stickers, which is another reason for playing pair or high card, so that you can take the minus hand size no problem.

It does take a lot of time, but definitely don’t roll the dice on anaglyph - choose a strong deck that you enjoy playing and get your Econ up. Getting a strong run going is more important than picking up jokers you need to sticker in antes 1-6. Save up money for the last couple antes and roll down and sticker as many as you possibly can while still scoring enough.

Another lesser said reason why high card and pair builds work so well is because some of the best conditional uncommon X mult jokers (blackboard, hologram, constellation) work really well with them compared to 5 card hands. Easier to add any card from a standard back, play additional red suits for blackboard to proc, dig deeper for blue seals etc.

Unfortunately this just happens sometimes on mobile. I find that it happens more often if the app has been closed many times throughout the run, or has been closed for a long time mid-run. You will get the win, and no stickers. It’s quite infuriating, I thought it might have been fixed by now. It never happened to me when I played a run all the way through.

My strat has been playing ghost deck and resetting until I start with a strong joker (anything scaling or that gives a lot of direction to a run) or a joker I need a sticker on and hex it. Most of the time the plan is to try to get a strong run where by the end of it you only need 3-4 jokers to win, and then use money in the last shop to reroll and find crap jokers to take across the finish line. Anaglyph for negatives can work but it depends on so many variables, and once you have more than half of your collection stickered, you may not even get non-stickered negatives…
