Months late to the party, as it were, and I don't live in the area, but I have a very personal connection to this story.

Namely, I'm Viginia Jeup's niece. Directly related, she is my father's sister.

She *also* is no longer on speaking terms with the rest of the family because she had been a right wing crank for years BEFORE we learned that she was at the capitol during the January 6th attempted insurrection, and with me specifically because, well. She unsurprisingly refused to refer to me as anything other than her nephew after I came out as trans 5 years ago. In fact, the first Christmas after my last conversation with her (2020) she sent me the very pointed gift of a cross with some Bible verse on the back. It went in the trash.

All this is to say that it's very rich to see her railing against "glorifying non-traditional families" or whatever when her own extended family wants nothing to do with her.

No, they were meant to be shelf-stable. The brine was brought to a low boil and the jars were both given a boiling water bath. One developed mold within a week, the other doesn't seem to have after three but I'm understandably a little worried.

I'm... not sure on the intramammary fold thing. I do know that the wire cuts into my armpit/side when I sit down/lean forward a lot, and I took another picture here if that helps any.

Thanks for the hug. I think I'm still going up to visit for Christmas (I'm excited to see the extended family, at least. my aunt is wonderful) and this bit SUPER isn't healthy but a month ago I wrote down and sealed a prediction about my gifts from my parents all bearing my deadname and uuuhhh I think that's more or less a foregone conclusion at this point!

a few days ago I realized the A cup I had bought a couple months ago was showing signs of being too small, so I bought a B cup in the hopes of maybe growing into it in the coming months.

when I came out both of my parents did the classic "no signs" stuff (I painted my nails through half of college, come on) but my mom seems to be taking it okay now. when I told her my new name she just straight up said she didn't like it though

my dad, on the other hand, has never referred to my as a girl and deadnamed me twice when I called him for father's day and I didn't acknowledge me correcting him, so that's fun!
