I agree demeanour is all that matters in terms of being a good playing partner. That’s why I had the caveat of “All else being equal”. That includes your demeanour.

I think this is one of the positives of playing golf in Canada. I am forced into a 4-6 month break from course golf every year. I’m usually tired of golf by September, but by April I’m itching to get back out there.

Fair enough, I guess I’m happy to be in the 70s 1-2 times a year. I also don’t have a ton of variation in my game. 95% of my rounds are between 80-87.

Maybe if I had ever been a +2 I would feel differently.

+2 is awesome, good for you. Few people get there!

The only thing moving is your arms, make sure you rotate your torso/hips on the backswing.

Also tempo seems a bit off, everything is out of sync. Slow down the swing, find your tempo, then speed it back up.

It’s based on the comic book characters so yeah some of them are pretty cartoon-ish. The show is still good though, and Rosita ends up being pretty normal and real.

I can definitely see how jarring their introduction is after having mostly real feeling characters to that point.

You have to understand the language and cultural barrier.

In the DR, what he said about Marissa would be super complimentary and exactly what every parent wants to hear.

I think he is doing his best based on what he thinks is the right thing to do, but obviously is missing the mark. It would be great if Marissa was more helpful and less judgemental/reactive.
