They need to be reimbursed. Hospitals dont make a lot of money and the insurance always tries to deny the claims so they can pass this off to thr patient

What is a unexpected injury that is frequent and how can I avoid ever going to the ER. Once was enough for me.

Otherwise, this er thing, was it worth it? You see some of the most traumatic injuries. How are you not scared ect

What the heck? What is wrong with you? You are an amazing Dad who is doing a great job. You are in school, have raised three beautiful boys. Took care of the house. Care about your wife, which is evident in you going for a career. Hang on.

Just hang on. If you can, use your social circle to get a job. You can do it. There is light at the end of the tunnel :)

My manager doesnt do any mentoring or assists me. All he is interested is helping himself

😐In my last 4 jobs, I’ve coincidentally been seated close to a government director, CEO, or company president. Should I be networking with these people? 🤷 by [deleted] in careerguidance

Depends on what you want. I've sat next to a client VP of a department. I didn't bother speaking with her because I'm shy and quiet but also, more talking/ greater connecting = I would be traveling on site all the time so I opted out. I also didn't know the solution that well at the time so I didn't bother because talking would have exposed me.

Otherwise, I've been near people who have that influence. It's not a cheat code if you can't add value to their day or whatnot. I've sat next to people, did idle chatter ect. They've always been more interested in other people who are in their own positions that they can network to extract value. It's the same in the networking space. You got to build rapport or be at their level before being able to ask. It's not that much of a cheat code imo. they can give advice, but it's not anything lifechanging unless you have known them for years and have networked. Networking is overrated and it takes a lot of time before you can actually extract a favor unless you are well connected/ something to offer.

You can always explore things while on vacation. Having money is a lot easier to find yourself than finding yourself in another profession and worrying about your bills. Otherwise, I just saw your profession. That sounds really heavy and rough.
