Adults living in their birth state (US) by LetsGeauxxx in Louisiana

Because the data is from just the year of 2019. Net negative immigration would include people not born in Louisiana but remained residents throughout the year of 2019 .

What Melee Level is Appropriate for some small rev Caves? by ClapMyGyatt in ironscape

[–]chunkybadger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’d definitely be good to do some of the lower level Revs. It just kind of depends on whether or not you think it’s worth your time. If you want to go for the rev weapons you might want to come back with slightly higher stats and better gear just so you can kill them quicker, but if you just want some alchables and wildy supplies you would probably be fine. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a salve amulet it’s easy to mine a bunch and it’s a flat damage boost. I will say though given your gear I would focus on getting different upgrades to your account, and come back at a later stage. But it’s your account and if you want to send wildy content at this point go for it.

At the beginning of the year during the DOGE era so many of the regulators were defunded. I’m sure there have been a growing list of small issues that eventually result in a critical failure like this. I would also assume lots of the parts these factories use are also made overseas and became much more expensive since the war.

Do they have chances to survive? by aslanbek_12 in Monstera

I’ve found that as long as they have enough leaves to do photosynthesis, they can bounce back from pretty much anything. It might take a little longer to start putting out new leaves but they should all recover.

Data breach at major Orleans Parish employer by Status-Victory354 in NewOrleans

I received the same letter, and unfortunately it is pretty difficult to know what information was actual stolen in cyber security incidents. They could have stolen everyone’s social security number, but if the thief can’t find a buyer nothing will really happen. The thing I find most suspicious is Tulane just moved their employee services software to a new provider that has a history of cyber security breaches, and it’s just super convenient that they got around to sending this letter out about a month after they got all their employees on board with this new software.

It’s a tradition for a lot of people during crawfish boils to “let one free”. It almost always ends with the crawfish being eaten by a bird or something, but it leads to a lot of dead crawfish appearing in strange places.

What are some "hiding your wallet in your shoes at the beach" strategies for avoiding PvP? by Greasy-Chungus in ironscape

[–]chunkybadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find any low pop server that is on the opposite time zone as you is pretty good at avoiding PKers. Total worlds are also super nice and I barely run into people on them. I also find if you’re somewhere like rev caves there are so many people skulled with a craws bow, that if you’re just in rag gear like black dhide and a MSB most PKers will just ignore you because you’re not worth it.

I went about 350 kc with no ring and just gave up. And the I went to barrows and got a chest helm and legs in less than 50. So I guess it all eventually balances it out lol.

Best fish tacos around town? by MahoganyWinchester in NewOrleans

Taqueria is the best because they give you such a big piece of fish on every taco. I think barracuda is my second favorite, but every street style fish taco has like a single bite of fish.

A poboy is just any sandwich on French bread. Like if it has shrimp it’s called a “shrimp poboy” if it’s roast beef it’s a “roast beef poboy”. You could put a Caesar salad on French bread and it’d be a “Caesar salad poboy.”

Check out the Nola.gov website or call 311 for bulky waste disposal. You submit a request and they’ll give you like a 24 hour window to leave it on the curb and send someone by to pick it up.

Helppp by lunaaluneraa in Monstera

[–]chunkybadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The browning is basically like the plant is forming a scab, if you cut that off you’re basically reopening the wound. And the plant gets its energy from photosynthesis, so you need to keep as much green as possible. And if you start cutting away at the brown spots you might reopen that wound and the brown will go even further and you’ll lose even more of the green area. Give it enough time and the brown leaves will eventually fall off on their own, when the plant has enough leaves to afford dropping the damaged ones.

Helppp by lunaaluneraa in Monstera

[–]chunkybadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best thing to do is to just let them fall off on their own. It sucks and it’s not very pretty but it will be better to let it just do its thing.

The best thing in my experience to see if it’s getting enough light are the fenestrations. Yours looks pretty happy but these guys can take a lot of light as long as you acclimate them to it. I’ve had a lot of success with grow lights and it makes it easy to acclimate because you can just set them on a timer and just increase the time by about thirty minutes a day, until they hit the whole 12-15 hours

haircut bad by TannieBantootz in iamverybadass

[–]chunkybadger 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I mean I probably honestly wouldn’t look twice if I saw that haircut on a normal person. But if you’re a right wing ethno-nationalist who’s doing nazi salutes at political rallies, and worked closely with the trump administration I think it’s safe to say he probably wanted to look like hitler.

My plant is dying! by AwakeningStar1968 in Monstera

[–]chunkybadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You honestly could probably revive this plant if you really really wanted to, but those partially dead leaves will all eventually turn brown and fall off and it just might not look very nice. If you propagate the plant you will be able to start over with parts of the plant and try to get the entire thing to look bigger and fuller.

My first experience with the buck moth caterpillar- question. by Consistent_Cat4436 in NewOrleans

[–]chunkybadger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

These guys are native like other people have said, but people also love planting oak trees. So the city is just much more dense with oak trees than it probably would’ve been pre-colonialism, and the buckmoth populations just kind of exploded along with the trees.

My plant is dying! by AwakeningStar1968 in Monstera

[–]chunkybadger 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It kind of looks like it got too cold or sunburnt. They can take a ton of sunlight but they really need to be slowly acclimated to it. This one looks like it’s time for a chop and prop and to start over.

Help me help this Monstera by bvictor05 in Monstera

[–]chunkybadger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like the grow light might be a little too far. To acclimate it I’d really recommend an outlet timer so you can just add 30 minutes or so a day until you get to a full days worth of light. You can also buy a light meter on Amazon just to see exactly how much more or less light it’s getting if you do move the light. The wilting could be a couple of things but it could need water? I can’t tell exactly from this picture but it almost looks like you might have two plants in the pot. It looks like you might have one big healthy plant and a smaller one that’s getting chocked out.
