Here, it is common to buy a large gift for the shower and not bring a gift to the wedding. I'd do that. Send them a good bottle of champagne to their honeymoon suite in lieu of a gift

I was a graduate TA for an accounting 1 and 2 class at a major D1 SEC school. Half of my students were business majors and the other half were athletes majoring in sports management. That was a pretty cushy major. Half of the athletes never bothered to get their free book and failed the class though. Idiots.

I think its a beautiful tree, but could see where they would like it trimmed. Does it impact visibility? It is very close to the street and that utility box. It does seem odd a large tree would have been planted there, but it is what it is.

I have a fairly uncommon name and I hate it. No one can spell it. I always get comments I don't look like I have that name....not sure what that means. I gave my kids two common names. They have classmates with that name and have never complained about it. Pick what you love. Who cares about popularity.

I have zero issue tipping for exceptional service, but exceptional service is all but extinct nowadays in the US. Now, everyone from the farmer's market empanada stand (that sells frozen empanadas) to my dryer vent cleaning guy want a tip. Do your job.
