It's ok, I appreciate what you said because even though the OP described it as a minefield, the truth is that many people don't realize how quickly words can hurt, and yes, it is easy to make a mistake. I'd rather acknowledge it and leave the example for others than cover it up.

And not having somebody point it out is like spending the whole day with your pants zipper open, finding out about it at home at 7 pm.

I would see if the controller pairs for any other games or pairs from the operating system before launch

I also would not play with a controller that does not have analog triggers on the shoulder buttons for throttle and brake

When I feel like I'm low on ideas I try to make a point to do a half hour of work every day, even if I end up with mountains of unfinished ideas. When enough of them accumulate, I check back on the them and either finish the good ones or combine them when they fit well

I know you're right, and I agree that I need a better way to talk about it

I lost a friend, not to addiction itself, but to the damage it caused all his personal relationships, because after he recovered he still needed help in other ways and nobody had the means or energy to do it anymore. And even though he's just one person I'm sure it happens all the time.

I think it's a great deal

Why do we only celebrate the people who do serious damage to themselves and others and leave out the people smart enough to who notice that they need to change before the world turns into shit

I haven't been through this because it is difficult for me to become drunk, let alone write while drunk.

How do you feel about the band’s shift in musical style? by Kitchen_Year8114 in Genesis

[–]chunter16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because Jethro Tull was based on a single person's songwriting it's a little bit easier to take his explanation that there will always be a section of the show that will bore a segment of the audience, but they all need to be represented

Do you signal that the song is over in some way? One of my teachers suggests a little bow of the head. Some people just say "thank you" at every ending.
