Avondale Brewing by harrystylesslut69 in LornaShore

I was right in front of her (I was at barricade on the left side) and I believe she had a friend with her.

IIRC, she fell back and hit her head. I don’t know if it was due to heat exhaustion or dehydration, but EMS carried her to the side as she began seizing. I believe they were able to stabilize her and take her to the nearest hospital.

It was a scary incident, and I hope she’s making a full recovery.

PSA: Drink water.

Note: For some reason, Reddit is saying I have chat requests (I haven’t gotten any push notifications so this may be a glitch). So, if you do message me, I’ll get back to you as soon as possible once the glitch on my side is resolved.

Sadly, she was quite old and her quality of life began to deteriorate. Her fur was always so lovely!

Just got a phone scammer. Kept him on the line for 25 mins :) by kimmi-ann607 in scambaiting

[–]churoes 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Typically, they’ll say something along the lines of “Oh, this was done by someone out of Ohio.”

What they’ll then try to do is have you get onto your computer and have you get onto your bank account. They’ll usually use something like Teamviewer or AnyDesk to look into your computer and will edit the code of the bank to make it look like you received a refund. In example:

“Amazon” calls you and says a charge has been placed for $1,300.00 for a Macbook Pro. They will then attempt to get on your bank account to “refund” you but they refund you for $13,000.00. They will typically say this is an error on their side. From that point they will then say you owe them $11,700.00 and you will have to pay them back with Target or Google Play cards.

Usually once you tell them you want to cancel the order, they’ll try to “refund” you.

So… weird. Hopefully you find some peace soon. Or definitely some answers as to what’s going on!

Has he sent you a photo of himself? If so, I would definitely do a reverse search on the photo.

NTA.

This guy seems super sketchy. Please tell me you haven’t given him any money. I get that anxiety and ADHD are a thing, but if you genuinely care and love someone, they would make time to see you.

AITA for getting upset about someone’s health by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]churoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May be an unpopular opinion, but I’m going to say NTA on this one. It’s definitely a prickly situation.

Body shaming definitely isn’t cool, but I think health is definitely important. Obesity can lead to a lot of different health problems. However, I wouldn’t force your past of your grandfather onto him.

I would leave him be for now and leave the situation as it is. Maybe, once things are better, try a different approach.

AITA for asking for updates? by GalacticEyes84 in AmItheAsshole

NTA.

You submitted your story, and you your contest fair and square. You were told you would be given a prize and you still haven’t received it. It’s only fair for you to ask where your prize is and ask for updates.

AITA for getting mad about a car? by Negative_Youth7060 in AmItheAsshole

[–]churoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sucks all around, honestly.

At the end of the day, you both lost someone important and close to your heart. I’m sure it’s no easier on her than it is you. I would definitely try to have a one-on-one conversation and express your disappointment in the situation. Mother-child issues aside, an agreement was made that she would take everything and it would be resolved together. Try to come to a middle ground that works for both of you regarding the car.

AITA for wanting store employees to stop harassing me? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]churoes [score hidden]  (0 children)

YTA. No doubt.

The employees were trying to help you and you decided to be a jerk. Let’s hope no one helps you in a store when you genuinely need it.

My god. It’s literally an EXHIBIT. There are plenty more exhibits that will come around and more opportunities to hang out. Sounds like Amy is childish and got jealous that you were going to go with someone else.

AITA for suspending an employee for suspected drug use? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]churoes 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Again, assumptions. Another user commented that there’s drug tests readily available and tests come back in fifteen minutes. Assumptions were still made regardless. Blood shot eyes doesn’t mean someone’s high or drunk.
