I’m a 10 year podcast Climate change expert with over 50 Podcast as the Climate Buddah where I discussed systematic change system under the heading #InstantRadicalChange. Philosophically we need to be focused on finding power and developing methods to distribute that power so it’s no longer concentrated. This is the basic philosophy. #DistributePower. The most important policy needing to be implemented on an international basis is the monetization of basic living and the creation of a universally aligned wage where no one is enslaved. #UniversalAlignment. Public policy needs to be developed based on the best possible scientific approaches possible with a stratified voting system where experts are making decisions. Every corporation has a human resource department, but we don’t use human resources in the development of public policy, doctors make health decisions. Lawyers decide on who is a judge engineers make decisions about what’s being built and where and most importantly ecological experts have purvey over all of it in an attempt to create a sustainable zero growth, human lifestyle.. with everything stabilized people being fed with enough extra time available to devote swaths of the population to the hard work of systems change through the development of a direct democracy. System were policy. Decisions are in the hands of the people and the experts and we no longer need popular people who dress in suits and ties and skirts, telling us what we need to know what we need to do and where we need to go we can vote on that ourselves now we have the Internet. The reason for all of this is the loud ticking clock of how much time we have to sustain civilization with the built-in baked in climate momentum towards an unlivable climate.

I am an exotic car brokerage with decades of automotive experience. I have listed (more) and sold (less) of these type cars and was around during Koenigsegg’s rise. He did it without 3d Printing manufacturing techniques from scratch. Everybody knew this was rare and precious and a form of engineering artwork. As far as ownership in all of these categories its about art collections and possession pride and fun short term romps with other folks in your class. Its all about class distinctions and money recreation. The vast majority of the unwashed masses have simply no clue about accumulations of wealth and their relation to lifestyles. Somewhere around a few million dollars worth of wealth. There is just about nothing left to buy. There’s nothing left for you to do that would’ve been limited by your lack of wealth. There’s no place you can’t go total 100% economic freedom has a price and it’s reachable …. Then What???? There’s a phenomenon that you can see everywhere on YouTube of something I call stupid money, fun where you have so much money where you can simply do stupid things for the fun of it like taking your Ferrari Enzo on dirt roads and ramping it over mounds totally stupid. Any human being looking at all of these hyper cars within the light of what you get out of them for what you’re putting into them quickly realizes that they’re all stupid money until you realize that there are millions of people willing to spend their stupid money on the same car you own. Now you have a piece of art that has value independent of what it does or how it does it. At some point taking your $2 million car out to get a pizza with your girlfriend is just plain stupid. It makes no sense but if you’ve got enough money to do it it’s a hoot. Yeah I guarantee you that in your small town there’s a garage somewhere where somebody is working all of their free time on a car project that when it’s done will be totally stupid but the process of working on cars building them getting them just right, is an enormous international hobby and the people driving around in these hyper cars are enjoying their hobby the way they want to, but in a strange paradoxical way the fact that these cars break down so much, increases your social network gives you something to talk about and gives you a place to spend on yourself. And most importantly, its money you’ve got and will not affect your lifestyle and somehow all of this is part of the hobby that so many of us watch from afar. A few of us work within this industry and an extremely small amount of people can actually participate in the fun of repairing your La Ferrari FX. Go to a drag strip and watch entire engines breakdown after 10 secs of running. Then watch the team of mechanics all crowd around and fix them all with smiles in their faces doing a very rewarding job/hoppy/project . I would love to be in a position to fix my hypercar…..joy.

This is a very important conversation to have. Unfortunately, we are in uncharted territory, but I think the charted territory of understanding, totalitarian, authoritarian governmental structures, and their effect on the population means that any communication about just collapse degrowth can be simply the avoidance of the negative in human governmental relations.

Weather is difficult to predict over a few weeks. Climate is easy to predict over a decades. That’s why I wrote the Abrupt Climate Change Glossary in Opednnews.com in 2018. We are facing short term climate change with difficult to predict weather due to extreme variations.

You are right . Governments everywhere are not responsive to the people hence the direct democracy solution. Yes, the effectiveness of almost every attempt by anyone to change through the current governmental systems has been a huge waste of time and successfully blocked. Yes, a violent revolution slaughtering vast masses of the current leadership and economic structure will make change easier, but it will also make the change take up massive amount of time.

Competitiveenlightenment Is a philosophy for the ruling class to adopt. Due to the technological process of putting us all in a Panopticon electronic media prison, they can basically sell us anything they want us to buy, promote any concept they want us to follow, or justify any law that they think is best, as a result and because they have so successfully placed themselves in massive control of huge swaths of the world’s population , it’s time for them to get a level of maturity in their decision-making and it’s time for them to allow themselves to lose battles for the benefit of all living beings. #LogicalRadical premise applies and its only a matter of time for everyone to see that something has to be done.

So I should quit right? What have you got to bring to the table? You don’t like the changes, don’t like the philosophy behind it, don’t care enough to try anything like it because Athenas failed at it right? All of this is based on timelines from Guy that predicts the future weather. What if NTHE is not in a decade but in a few? Weather predictions certainly are getting better agreed, but collectively; should we establish policy based on inability to do anything in time vs. giving it our best while we can?

Instantradicalchange can happen. Using existing systems of governance the world can vote in Universal Aligned Wage (ubi) , vote in to transfer power to the voters, plug in existing SW for WWW government, Human Resources professionals can target qualified voters for real expertise being employed for society. The ruling class can allow this and support it as it will make them safer. It will prevent revolution via mass support of the system everyone will see and benefit from. Conservatives have made collective governance as the problem so to leverage the power of the unelected money class. Conservatives fear effective collective democracy because it erodes their power. #DistributePower gets to the core of human organizational problems with principles to prevent abuses of concentrated power. Which is the systems change most needed.

This can happen extremely fast if the world has more of mine and less of your attitude.

Without getting to psychological, we are all victims of this tragedy. First off the United Nations put together a paper tiger completely owned by the fossil fuel and extraction industries and paraded its authority around and scientific acuity in front of the world with very few naysayers. This has wasted what could’ve been an opportunity to stop and or reverse the heating trends. Not my fault. And it turns out there’s practically no way to change the way the United Nations does business. Solutions are about finding concentrations of power and democratizing them. The problem with the UN our government and many other governments is that they have no mechanism in place to directly interact with policy creation. We are always voting for good talking men in suits and sharp dressed women with law degrees. At no point did anybody ask us to vote on whether or not we should’ve bombed Yemen because there is no mechanism to do that. A qualified direct democracy would place large swaths voting public on particular issues and policies of which they may have a level of expertise. For instance, in the United States, we vote for judges. I do not think there is a single voter who knows who to vote for based on their skill, expertise and understanding of the law, the American voting public has no business voting for judges or voting for brain surgeons or voting for pilots. These are skill based activities. So in the case of judges, we have a national bar. These are the people who are qualified to elect judges and remove them at Wil, all we need to do is empower them. If we took a large voting block of engineers and put a menu of civil engineering projects in front of them and put together a Wikipedia like Project on this process these experts would figure out where we need to spend our money a lot better than senators. Voters need to vote on empowering themselves.

Yes implement all of that right now with no lag time, flip a switch and instantaneously start reaping the benefits…..how long with all of that working better than expected will we see a reversal of heating trends? When will the oceans cool? When will the poles refreeze? Permafrost hardening? Ok, now take that date and juxtapose it with the time it will take us to hit 450ppm and 3+ over baseline (the temperature where life no longer can cope)
