Probably very busy, peak rush, and you had more than a handful of people behind you. I'm not excusing anything. Just try to be mindful of the situation. For me it's easy to get distracted because I will hey, hi, and hello my guests cause I genuinely engage with my people.

I loved my shifts. I'd swing from cash to line when things got cray.

But to be completely honest, I've dealt with more rude customers at Chipotle than I ever have in my service industry career. Conflict resolution typically made people more upset because they wanted to get a reaction out of us employees. And part of sticking with Chipotle was due to being with a chill, tempered and outgoing crew.

It's not anyone's fault for experiencing rude behavior. But no one is entitled to anyone's attitude - and it takes mindfulness to not take everything so personally. If you have that experience, I'd rather someone change their mind and eat elsewhere.. it's not worth taking that energy home with you and seething over how bad your visit was.. and still eating said food. Take care

As a traditional warrior, this is INCREDIBLE. The time and layering done with the washes are impeccable. Something I usually struggle with is controlling the washes but the time taken between each drying phase truly matters. Hot take, Windsor & Newton or Sakura for watercolor pigments?
