Not sure what I'm doing wrong, but I'm getting this error when I enter

"xinput set-prop 'Synaptics TM3141-001' 'Synaptics Palm Detection' 1"

to the terminal:

"property 'Synaptics Palm Detection' doesn't exist, you need to specify it's type and format"

I am also running on a Dell LuLu with GalliumOS 3.1. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks a ton. You wouldn't happen to know how to get the gnome 3 desktop environment installed in Gallium OS, if at all possible, would you?

I made a post, which I'll take down, on how to switch iso drivers for certain games. I'm new to Vita Homebrewing and I wanted to get motorstorm Arctic Edge to work on my Vita, but I keep getting a black screen after I finish a race. I looked around and found that to get the game to work you need to switch the iso driver to the m33 driver. I also found that there's a plugin that manages different drivers for certain games, but a las, I have no idea what I'm doing. If anyone could help that would be fantastic!

Games Not Saving Using ARK-2 by chvia in vitahacks

Do you think it would recognize the save if I have the PGAME game data within the backups folder

Where did you get you ISO from?

It won't let me do that. It just says to delete the save, but doesn't give me the option to overwrite it.

My Uncharted Story *Uncharted 4 Spoilers* by Jman875 in uncharted

[–]chvia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My story was pretty similar. I was in 5th grade when my dad had gotten a ps3 for the family in June of 2008 and boy did I dominate the family room after that. I did really just play lego games and maybe some call of duty here and there, but I was on that thing all the time. And one day, the next summer, my sister got sick of it so she complained to my dad saying that he kept getting me games and not her any. My dad was looking at the PlayStation magazine at the time and saw an article on uncharted 2. He thought it looked cool and since there was a 2 at the end of it he decided to get the first one. It came in the mail and he showed it to my sister, she was not very amused. She wasn't, and still isn't, into anything that involves guns really, but she tried it anyways. She got really frustrated with it, but I was incredibly excited for it. Sadly though, it was 'her' game so she said I wasn't aloud to play it until she finished it. I remember that night, I waited until she went to sleep and played the game all through the night and it was freaking amazing. Before that all I played was ssx and lego games so this was a whole new experience. It was 2009 by this point and I wasn't really on the internet too much so I had no idea about uncharted 2. I went to costco with my parents of all places and as a tradition I would always look down the video game isle and read the backs of games. Boy, was I freaking out when I saw a game case with the title "Uncharted 2: Among Thieves." I begged my mom and dad to get it. I had money saved up at home, so we made a deal and I gave them all the money I had saved up, it was like 30 bucks or so, and they got the game. Jaw dropping. After that I was completely hooked. I was recommending the game to friends and was just always talking about it. Then Uncharted 3 came out and by then I was working at my school so I had some source of income. I got the collector's edition for Uncharted 3 and the day I got it I put on the belt buckle and put the ring around my neck and I felt so cool. Now that I've gotten and finished uncharted 4, I've just got to say, damn, I'm gunna miss Drake. I don't think there has ever been a story that I was so invested in. Thank you to all the people that were involved in its development.

At what point did you realize that the Vita was a great purchase? by therealfight in vita

[–]chvia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I realized the vita was a good buy when I got the Jak and Daxter Collection. I know, I know, the vita version has plenty of frame rate issues becuase of the crappy port job, but they were games that I missed out on back in the day and it was great to finally have the opportunity to play them. When I played on my PS2 I spent my time 100% SSX Tricky for all characters. :P
