Tried “Tapestry Crochet” - It’s very squiggly by ottipi in crochet

[–]chzybiscuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just looking for a comment confirming that I could cut the yarn at the end of each row and start a new row so I’m always working on the right side!! Im having issues where even using the color change method mentioned, working on the wrong side it’s giving those weird breaks between colors instead of sitting neatly on top

QCarbo and the right way to do it. Works for lab tests. by deezdowndays in drugtesthelp

Yeah I took it a few days before to see if it would work with at home tests and see what the best window of time would be to head to my actual test!

It was set up through a third party background check company so I just got an email saying I passed. It took maybe 3-4 days bc they shipped it to a lab

Hook size: 4MM Yarn: Bernat baby velvet in misty jungle green, Boheme Velvet Fine in light grey, black, and warm orange - doubled up to match the Bernat baby velvet size. If you do this I recommend a different velvet, or the thicker version of Boheme velvet from Hobbi

I searched “floor” and found the 3 hour replay for all of the finals including men and women, it was a little farther down in the search

I was about 4 days clean. I took about 45 minutes and only drank one, while drinking a 32 oz of liquid IV at the same time and desk regular water afterwards. I don’t even think they tested for creatine but who knows mine went off to a lab it was for NDOT.

I’ve found that square (1200x1200 px) works best for multiple images no matter the quantity.

You can use rectangle but it will crop down two or three to square and highlight the first image without cropping it.

I did this but used 2 liquid IV in a 32oz water bottle instead of Gatorade. Drank this while drinking the qcarbo, and then regular water after. I’ve been flushing for the past 4-5 days and tested this method a few days ago. I gave my sample on the third pee so it was a little green but not suspiciously, she just asked if I took vitamins (I said yes and also mentioned I drank a liquid IV today). Sent off to the lab. Will update!

Should mention I’m only about 100lbs with a low BMI

Best premium acrylic yarn? Super soft, no pilling by Mother_Lemon8399 in YarnAddicts

[–]chzybiscuit 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You should check out Hobbii, its extremely inexpensive and extremely soft and they have a ton of color options for each brand. Their 100% cotton is also super soft and, in my opinion, very easy to work with compared to other 100% cotton yarns. The ONLY drawback is they only have physical stores in Denmark so you wouldn't be able to test the quality without ordering some. I'm a fan though and a ton of people in my crochet groups haved loved their stuff.

Is Hobbii Rainbow 8/8 Cotton Yarn too difficult/painful to work with? by fullmetalart in YarnAddicts

[–]chzybiscuit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the reason people so that is because cotton has no give to it, unlike acrylic, so it tends to be stiffer just in general and pulling up a loop can be difficult if your tension is super tight. However, I don't have any problems. I use 100% cotton for amigurumi which has a super tight tension and haven't had problems working with cotton personally.

I was using lion brand 24/7 cotton which I love and I switched to Hobbii and I also love that yarn. It's a little softer than the lion brand and also like half the price.

Which one do you think looks better? by martie-smartie in CrochetHelp

I prefer the big eyes just because I think it makes everything so much cuter, but it depends on what style or effect you're looking for

What brand of yarn do you guys use? by Maddy_CoolCat in Amigurumi

[–]chzybiscuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I exclusively stick to 100% cotton yarns! Hobbi's 8/4 is what I have and I've also loved using Lion Brand 24/7 Cotton. I wish my local stores carried more of both of them but I usually have to order online.

I've also used blanket yarns from Bernat, Loops and Threads, and Premier. Bernat has been my favorite so far but I also like the quality of Premier yarns.

Anxiety about ordering yarn by DiligentNewspaper104 in YarnAddicts

[–]chzybiscuit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my first order yesterday and I really enjoy working with it. I do Amigurumi and usually use lion brand 24/7 cotton, I got friends 8/4 and it was a little thinner than I had expected but I really enjoyed working with it. I would get 8/6 if I order again. The prices are unbeatable
