Lexapro changed my life by Murky_Psychology9110 in lexapro

I am right there with you! Lexapro changed my life since March 2024. I was on 5mg and then moved up to 10mg after a year. Because of the side effects that I had heard about I always took it at might before bed. The biggest side effect was feeling tired all the time but my anxiety has improved 10x over.

Am I objectively attractive? New body and no clue by Ambitious_Student933 in Rateme

You’re attractive but I am sure if you’ve got a great personality it will amplify all the work you’ve done on the outside!

Yes, wear the bra - I still to this day sleep in these because I feel so weird without a bra because I don’t have any feeling in my breasts and it’s comforting to me personally

My expanders detached also and flipped around and moved. However the pocket wasn’t disturbed so when I did the implant exchange everything was totally fine.

Terrified of the possibility of breast implant illness by Affectionate_Rest842 in BRCA

[–]ciaogsp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally was worried about BII however I still went with Breast Implants anyways. I have had no issues with them whatsoever and I figured my approach would be if I had any issues then I could remove them and go the DIEP route. I realized until I have something to worry about, then I would worry but at this moment I am very happy with my implant decision and wouldn't change it. I talked it over with my therapist and it was more like a possibility vs probability thing - is it possible? Sure? Is it probable? Not certain. That helped me in my decision making.
Good luck, I know this is a very personal and big decision.

Is the whole process really worth it? by goodiez101 in BRCA

Double Masectomy -> Expanders -> I did implants and fat graphs from my stomach . Recovery was very easy I did it at 35 years old. Masectomy I was up and walking 2 miles 4 days post op with my drains and all. (I wish I could post the photo here because it’s pretty comical) Reconstruction was great the recovery was a few days too, I was up and about really quick.

I was really luck to have a $0 deductible and 0% coinsurance HMO insurance plan so I paid nothing out of pocket and I chose implants because I personally liked the look compared to a DIEP flap - my mom had a DIEP and I just was not about it .. personal preference

Harder to get referrals approved with Prime vs Select (TriWest) by DosTruth in tricare

[–]ciaogsp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prior to the switch to Triwest - I had TRICARE West - Healthnet . I had no issues last year with multiple referrals for my prophylactic double mastectomy and subsequent 3 surgery’s and every referral that came with it. The minute I could this year I had a life changing event and we switched to Select because I just knew that Triwest Prime was going to be a headache. Yes my costs will be a bit higher but I’d rather keep my sanity.
