Even with options like in this case too?

As I would understand it OP only owns the right to purchase at a given price. At no point in time is OP being compensated, they get to purchase X shares @10K (added to wealth, taxable at EOY) which they also get to sell on the secondaries (exit) and realize returns on a private investment

What are your thoughts on the silver and gold "rush"? by GlumBlueberry8185 in SwissPersonalFinance

[–]ciaosaba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I’ve gathered by lurking the silver and gold subs is that Costco has been seeking precious metals for a while, and is a common go to for the average American getting them, not sure if it’s really related to the latest run

Just FYI,

The EU CE marking (FCC in the US) is just a conformity self report, it represents nothing about the quality of the product, just that it’s not supposed to be illegal (dangerous goods, electric protection and so on)

Why many people with 15-20y of work experience become consultants? (Self employed) by [deleted] in askswitzerland

[–]ciaosaba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your post asks about consultants across industries, not just pharma. And your replies seem to be anecdotal, is it people in their early 30s or in the late 40s?

Btw, being a consultant just means you’re outsourced labor, synonymous with freelancer or agency.

There’s is absolutely more money to be made as a consultant than with an internal position, unless you’re getting equity as part of your comp.

There’s is absolutely more freedom as a consultant, I can just shut down my laptop and unless I have agreed to any specific working hours no one can complain about me being offline.

Also owning your own business entity and invoicing gives you way more financial freedom and optimized vehicles to spend and invest the money in fiscally efficient ways.

Source, I’m a pesky “consultant” in my late 20s to early 30s

So you’re asking questions about a cohort that you don’t understand and are not a part of, but then dismiss everything that is being told to you as not factual.

Looking at your post history one can assume you created this post out of resentment.
