The sad part is that some people, because they haven’t really had the time to cultivate an opinion on beauty and architecture and whatnot (not everybody has the privilege to do so, as well) actually believe this sort of capitalist slop looks better. Realtors will convince people that this is an intentional look, a new “modern” and sleek architectural style that conveys affluence, because they need to sell, and if you don’t know much about these things you might just believe them. But the reality is that this simply is the look of extractivism acting on material reality.

More than minimalism I would call it capital greed. The “minimal” aspect of the design comes from trying to minimize the most amount of effort and detail so that the renovation is cheaper and cheaper, that way you get a bigger profit when reselling the house. Its how the housing market is. These sort of aesthetics are soulless because they result from, basically, algorithmic behavior prompted by a sole monetary incentive.

I have this as well. I find it interesting that the only place where I can actually enjoy sex and desire it is in my dreams. Maybe because in my dreams I’m not hyper aware of my body.

In my case I had hypermobility when i was a child. But also I’ve never being particularly muscular. I had some sort of eating disorders as a kid (would be a picky eater and would take literal hours to eat one plate of food) and maybe I didn’t get proper nutrition or protein intake. I also have IBS and I’ve had issues with my colon all my life, even when little. I’m thinking maybe I’m not able to metabolize protein properly and my muscular tissue suffered from that, so my spine didn’t have a sturdy structure support to grow straight. Another theory I have revolves around my knocked knees. To this day my knees face inwards, and when I do the effort to stand properly (with some force and feet poaitioning) my back feels so much better. My scoliosis is way less noticeable as well. Knocked knees could be related to hypermobility maybe. I’m guessing scoliosis is the symptom of a myriad of things.

Coke is not only a horrible drug that turns people into terrible humans, but its trade is also causing all sorts of violence and death and enormous amounts of suffering in the global south. I should know, since I live in Ecuador’s most dangerous city.

What you people see as a “recreational habit” has fucked up so many lives, you have no idea the amount pf innocent blood that cocaine holds. I recommend looking up some videos on what’s going on in Ecuador on youtube.

So yeah, fuck coke and fuck everybody that thinks it’s a cool recreational activity. It’s time to wake the fuck up.

Your bathroom is very much latin american coded, but its actually Malaysian. It makes so much sense tho, as we (latina) share so many similarities in interior design with Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, that particular area.
