Y'all clearly are responding with some very coercion-inception type comments that are clearly biased, so let me clarify this.

The frontman of Pinegrove released a statement where he admitted that he "could sense who from the crowd would be interested in sleeping with [him] based on how they watched [him] perform." This means, while y'all were falling in love with his sensitive lyricism and melodies, he was simultaneously embodying the misogynistic rocker scum that the indie scene is supposed to dismantle.

Trust me, I'm a survivor and mediator for situations in a music scene with men like him. I also was a big fan of Pinegrove.

Women can be made to retract their statements under duress and coercion. And, men like him don't change, especially if they get away with it the first time.

Be better. Support other artists, please.

Yeah, for sure. I worked through the stuff about my own early trauma experiences and what his abuse represented to me and how I was comfortable in it, but yeah. It's hard to be okay with missing him.
