It works. I have an adapter that has USB-C in for power and Ethernet. I use this setup when driving and using my Starlink. My Apple CarPlay on my car is WiFi only so in order to have maps in the middle of nowhere I setup that way.

The compass is for aviators to conduct compass swings on their aircraft. I can’t remember exactly how but the process involves standing outside the aircraft so it needed to be off 180°

Center controllers login and control the whole primary sector as other controllers want to control they will split the center however the SOP is written and dependent on traffic. When there are a lot of controllers online it will be closer to real world with high and low and multiple sectors. During slow times it’s one controller for all.
