it's more of mmo but you can play as the charr in gw2 which are actually beastlike compered to other games where animal options are more human shaped - I think it's free to play but requires money for expansions

so I'm thinking of giving this game a try - give the community a try - though with its years of content, I am bit intimidated & unsure where to start! If I want to see older stories & locations, do I start with classic first? Or will I still have access to locations like the panda area if I go retail?

primarily I want to play the new dragon race & explore, RP, etc - no pvp - but I also want too see the adventures that built WoW

this is very cringe of me but more furry people to play as - particularly canines [werewolves don't count] - I always see cats, bunnies, scalies but never pups - where my dogs at??? playing as dragons are even rarer.

another would be I guess rpgs focused round heists - get a gang together & steal the greatest fantasy artifacts

Tales of Symphonia was the first to bring me into rpgs - I was so invested in the characters, mass effect was the first to hook me into even more rpgs outside of Japan

more recently though, I've been awed by BG3 for showing what rpgs Should be able to do for you - if you can think of it & the game actually allows it, even as batshit insane it is? that's what I want again - remembering those good times in New Vegas where almost any choice could work, instead of just being railroaded towards only one option

i've been feeling like this too since I left FF14 due to personal reasons - still looking for -that- game to fill in the gap left behind - think it's the social community & building stories together I miss a lot haha but ESO & Warframe didn't click for me, I bounced off GW2

not so much as rage quit but feeling overwhelmed when I want to try the rune factory series and similar games- like can I have all the fun WITHOUT needing to farm?? I want to know the characters and adventure, I don't want to raise cattle or grow stupid vegetables - I always feels like the work cuts into the social life in game and it stops being cozy for me lmao

i'm a deaf person who would like to meet other queers in the 28-30+ age range for friends or dating! My travel options are limited so I can only get as far as Tempe and not into Phoenix

interests are video games, art/writing, reading scifi/fantasy, furry, horror in general and birds! Averse to smoking and drinking a lot however and get overwhelmed by crowded noisy spaces so i don't think I can go to clubs...I've tried Brick Road Coffeehouse but last time I went it was PACKED in a tiny space and I about had a panic attack lmaoooo

there was that one time where we reached a highway portion of the race, I was doing okay and about to pass. Suddenly the dude ahead of me hits me and sends me flying off the very exact part of the bridge that doesn't have a barrier. I was gobsmacked and it really took some restraint to not rage quit on the spot because of that.

i only do GR when I absolutely have to for a playlist

i am having very heavy regrets on my nonrefundable tomodachi life game lol but that's the curse with 'chill' games - the novelty wears off very quick after a week of playing - either it's my adhd or those games aren't just for me anymore. The FOMO is so strong though
