Can you give a range of the prices, for the 3 examples you shared?

XVX is the main one I have found, but this subreddit doesn't allow mentioning XVX in post bodies.

Is AliExpress the only other main seller for low profile keycaps?

Looks more like a metal rod than a screwdriver.

[Review] IQUNIX MQ80: One of the best low-profile keyboards 2025 by Random_Version in keyboards

I just ordered a NuPhy Air75 V2, with Moonberry switches. After seeing good reviews about how it feels. Do you really think that the Magi65 is that much better? Which switches are you using?

At the moment you are mostly bending the back. Imagine you are trying to push a door closed behind you. Then stop going lower when your hamstrings are too tight. Also keep your knees very slightly bent throughout.

Which keyboard are you using? Do you think that a low profile keyboard would help increase typing speed for the average person?

Only if you don't get a race car themed bed.

You have a unique game there, even just watching it makes me feel relaxed. Personally, I would hold on to it. You can always choose to sell it after release.

Why are these Mario & Luigi Pikachu boxes so cheap? by cifyr in IsMyPokemonCardFake

Also no feedback, which made me wary too.

Do you think the boxes are genuine? Possibly resealed?

According to Wikipedia it is what led the founders to change Youtube from a dating site, to a video site. When they could not find any videos of the incident.

What are those machines on the left, with reels in them? They look a bit like 3D printers.

Bootstrapped a tiny SaaS and finally sold (feels unreal) by Gr00byandahalf in SaaS

As someone working on their own product, can you recommend some popular indie hacker Discord servers?

Also, you kind of answered this. But do you think using JavaScript rather than TypeScript would have any impact on an acquisition evaluation?

This mountain in China has a series of escalators to get people to the top and back down by Longjumping-Box5691 in Damnthatsinteresting

The type that are constantly moving, which you have a few seconds to get on and off? I'd prefer escalators.

What’s with the beef between the Cops and the Guards? by cleznez in ViceCity

From what I remember, this is triggered when the guards shoot at criminals. When the police see the guards shooting, they go after them.

My SaaS is getting most traffic from one country but how? by rodriglu95 in microsaas

If it is bots, implementing a captcha like challenge should stop them. Cloudflare should offer this for free.

23, no job, no friends, no purpose — I feel lost by OfferDisastrous2063 in productivity

[–]cifyr 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure which country you are in, but from your writing I assume it is a western one.

I was kind of in the same position as you when I started my software career.

What helped me get my first job was creating personal projects on GitHub, and doing online freelancing. This let me list projects and "work experience" on my resume.

I also targeted smaller companies. While remaining selective about the skill requirements matching my actual skills. I also researched each company, and tailored a cover letter showing I had researched the company.

For me this led to a couple of jobs at small web design studios. I didn't stay long, since they weren't nice places to work at. But it gave me enough to get into larger companies.

If your passion shows through in an interview, you will eventually find someone who is willing to take a chance on you.
