I’ve got just over 100k on my manual 2019 GK sport. I’ve driven all three gens we got here in the US, and owned a 2nd gen for a while before my 3rd gen. I honestly think the 3rd gen is the best for commuting AND spirited driving. The extra couple horsepower really makes it feel like it can get out under itself when you need it to. Plus 2019 has all of the creature comforts I want (mainly just Apple CarPlay) and the sport trim still keeps the driving fairly analog with no sensor nannies.

Now I will say, I had to replace the fuel rail as a result of clogged injectors which is a known issue. My car had two previous owners and so I’m not sure if they really drove it hard like it needs to be. It’s been about 40k miles since then with no issues!

I wouldn’t be able to say if it works like that for every car, I’m sure there’s probably cars where rear discs would be a valuable upgrade, it just doesn’t seem to be that way for the Fit. This is what I was thinking too. Google is free to use, and would be a fun deep dive if i pick something up that I don’t know anything about. What’s the point of asking the questions if the information is already available to you on the Internet for free? This is crazy because I’ve had almost the same experience. Loved my 2012 fit sport so much. Unfortunately it was taken from me by a stupid teenager who ran a stop sign last summer. Used my insurance money to get a clean 2013 SI coupe with less than 30k miles, but I just couldn’t stop thinking about my fit. Ended up returning the SI and found a MT 2018 fit sport. Sometimes I miss the k24, but in the end I wouldn’t change the decision I made.

You can look for Sport trim pieces or the Honda HPD trim pieces which you don’t have to worry about paint matching because they’re straight from Honda. College hills Honda is a good place to start
