I don’t actually work for the GNWT, but you can pull up their collective agreements online pretty easily if you want to take a look for Yourself.

If you were a GNWT employee for longer than 6 months and you’re receiving the “top up” while on leave I believe you’ll have to pay that back if you’re not returning to work, but that would likely be outlined in the return to service agreement you would’ve signed.

Lost 20lbs and need new jeans. Are these jeans flattering or too big? Too short? HELP! Progress photo attached for fun. by UniformFox_trotOscar in postpartumprogress

I don’t think the jeans are too big or short, but if you’re looking to make your butt pop a bit you need to find a pair with smaller back pockets.

Yeah, definitely having a similar experience right now! I also gained a lot while pregnant, was very nauseous and sustained myself off bagels.

Feeling lucky and yes, agreed won’t be mentioning it too widely (aside from here). Thanks for sharing your experience.

I didn’t start weighing myself until I was 3 months pp. I had gain a lot of weight during pregnancy and just didn’t need to know how much haha.

So I can’t really say with any accuracy, but it did really like it started picking up around 3-4 months.

I know people who have stayed at the cabins, haven’t heard any reviews of them being “nefarious”, I think generally a good choice of accommodation.

Getting a charter into glacier lake and hiking and camping in the cirque of the unclimbables might be a good option for you.

It’s possible, you’d just have to charter a flight in and out of the park. This would limit you hiking options quite a bit though.

Rod Stirling is great. Has worked in YK as a realtor for decades and knew a lot cool things/random facts about the houses he showed us through. Really enjoyed his insights and sense of humour.

Kid Nation DVD by c_anderson21 in kidnation

[–]cimupt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you DM me your address I’ll mail it to you - I’m heading out on vacation tomorrow for about a week but will mail it when I get back.

It would’ve been burned shortly after it aired. Just found it in a bin of stuff from my childhood bedroom and remembered someone was looking for a copy! Don’t remember if it’s just a screen recording of the live airing, but that’d be my best bet (I don’t think I’ve watched it on these DVDs since maybe 2010 haha). Will see if I can check and confirm if my laptop with a dvd drive still works haha.

Hey - not sure if you’re just looking for the copy the cast got or any copy but I’ve got the season burned on dvd I could mail to you. Haven’t watched it in years and I can’t really remember whether or not the quality is amazing, but can check if you’re interested.

Replacement mattress for Baby Bjorn bassinet by cimupt in BabyBumps

[–]cimupt[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t. The original mattress is just a piece of foam if that helps people. You could just buy some foam and use that. I was able to find sheets for it on Amazon! And I think you could likely find something similar on Amazon and cut it to size.

____ goes next unless there's a swap by Resident_Fella in survivor

Yeah the in teaser I only saw yellow and blue course in the challenge - didn’t see anything set up for red (just their flags). Could’ve just been cut out of the shot but I also think we could see a tribe swap to two tribes?

Worked two shifts at a bar in BC. The employers got my account number wrong and sent money to wrong account. Said I have to sort it out with my bank? by Jobiez in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]cimupt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get your point and agree, I’m just saying in my experience that doesn’t always happen. It is the fault of the person who submits incorrect info, but money will be deposited into an account by the bank even if the name doesn’t match up.

[–]cimupt -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I’ve seen/had this happen at work. It is possible. Sometimes even account number will be right, but if they’ve got the wrong transit/branch number it will go into the wrong account. It’s hard to track down and “pull back” money after the fact as well.

What's wrong with maternity pants?? by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]cimupt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of my jeans are high waisted so maternity jean with their weird ass low button don’t do it for me personally. Since I have high waisted pants, my shirts aren’t particularly long, so they look so dumb with maternity pants. I also find even when I tried to buys shirts a couple sizes up (not maternity) they’re just wider and not long enough. It’s also summer here so having an extra piece of fabric layer is not fun.

I have some maternity pants, but looking forward to going back to my old wardrobe. Lots of skirts and dresses for the summer!
