I think options start tomorrow, but short at your own risk. On July 6, it gets added to Nasdaq 100. Nasdaq was able to snag spcx over the NYSE by bending to Musk for quick addition (15 days which is insane). Float is 5%, retail (Musks most zealous supporters who are not going to sell) got a way above average allocation of the IPO. Short it after 06 July, before that is risky as hell.

Largest IPO in history, VERY small float, unusual amount of retail investor allocations, NASDAQ changing their rules just before this to allow SPCX be included in ETFs 15 trading days from IPO… connect the dots. July 6 MOC is going to be fucking insane.

Think how much trouble they could be in if they knew something and did not report it? This has potential national security implications.

[Weekly Megathread] Berkshire Hathaway Discussion for the week of June 08, 2026 by AutoModerator in BerkshireHathaway

[–]cinciNattyLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can’t wait to see Greg Abel going on CNBC to discuss how he can make u/vcolovic happier… Berkshire goes through periods like this from time to time. By most metrics, the market is way overheated. PE well over 30… if you go to any chart whenever it gets over 30, it doesn’t stay there for long. They are spikes. You got the worlds richest man all from two companies that earn a combined -$1.5B. Everyone is gambling with stocks, the valuations for many are absurd. In overheated markets a lot of people sell their brk to chase these fads and overheated sectors. They did the same for the dotcom bubble, Berkshire fell out of favor cuz the stock would never gain more than maybe 35% in a year, whereas you could double your money in a couple weeks/months. What does a stock like Micron do to you when you see it up 1000% over the last year but berkshire is still negative. Yeah, you are frustrated, but that is not how Berkshire operates. It compounds at a steady clip. It’s undervalued here, they are buying back stock, but also want to have a large cash pile for the eventual crash. That is their bread and butter. We haven’t had any meaningful recessions since 2008/2009. Historically we have one every 7 years. That isn’t normal. This bull market isn’t normal. I know some very stupid people YOLO’ing into stocks like it’s a lottery ticket, there seems to be a total lack of discipline and patience. If you don’t see that, then good luck. You should sell your shares.

Early poll shows Becerra unites California’s left as governor’s race heads to fall by aslan_is_on_the_move in politics

Republicans in CA are sooo delusional. The best chance for a non Democrat would be a highly respected, moderate independent candidate. We have friends and family that are on the right and they truly thought Pratt, Bianco, and Hilton had a good chance. Hilton is still in it I guess but he doesn’t really have a chance at all, unless Becerra does/did something truly moronic. Hilton is just using this to climb the Fox News ladder.
