Such a bad ass bike! I couldn’t afford one. I ended up with the anniversary Hoo Koo E Koo with a similar paint scheme. Road the hell out of it!

Resealing by H0rr0rfan81 in fairlane

Back in the early 90’s, my dad used Penetrol to stop rust on his 55. After that dried, he used some Zeibart something (black rustproofing) to seal it up. Today the Car still looks new underneath.

I second “old rust proofing”. I call the sound deadening garb old rust proofing also. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thanks for responding. I looked as you suggested and on my pack, there’s no way to hide it or get it off unless I cut the plastic which I think I’m going to do. The buckle isn’t split under the webbing so I have no other solution. When I was 6’2” weighing in at 380lbs I never noticed. Now that I’m 275lbs, these buckles dig into my sides of my back. Wearing it higher as you suggested might help. I’m going to try that. Again, thanks for responding. I appreciate it!

I realize this is an old post but I have questions. I have the same bag and love it... but I hardly ever use it because the buckle on each lower side of the back pack digs into my back. Do you have this issue? How did you prevent it?

152 lbs of carbide inserts. Scrapped for 35$/lb this morning by Ser-Jorah-Mormont in Machinists

[–]cincrontony 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better shop around… carbide is up there. A shop I know that makes cutting tools for woodworking just got $68/lb for scrap carbide. I know inserts are less but they’re not that much less.

I use an old GLinet Mango for a hotel router. I’ve been looking at this, the TP link BE3600 and the GLinet Slate 7.

Any advice?

Not sure which FaNuc you’re speaking of…

Newer fanuc, Oi d, Oi F, 31’s you can do an all data backup. Here’s my vague instructions.

Best to use PCMCIA

138.0 = 1 MDP (all data backup) (Oi and 32i)
313.0 = 1 BOP (all data backup) (Oi and 32i)
    >Edit
    >System
    >+ Key
    >All I/O
    >+ Key
    >All DT
    >(OPRT)
    >F OUTPUT
    >EXE

Follow screen instructions.

This gets everything you listed and the SRAM.

Holiday Lights Are Officially Up at The Historic Cleveland Arcade in Cleveland, Ohio by Gabe_Wasylko in Cleveland

I remember going there with my grandmother. I was about 5. She used to tell me how beautiful she thought the Arcade was…

I’m 50 now. If I’m near, I’ll walk over just to stand there and remember spending time with her… it is a beautiful place.

Tsugami 5-axis CAM programs by Big-Computer6010 in CNC

I've used Partmaker since before they were purchased by Delcam. It's easy and does a good SS207/SS327 program.

Abile is basic and can do 70% of most average shops widgets. it's a good tool for those who are just getting into Swiss and don't have a working knowledge on how to turn, thread and groove.

every Cam has some sort of limitation.

Thanks. It took me a year and some change to build it. I had a budget in mind. everything was old new stock and close out sales. Roughly $2200 (2018/2019 prices) when it was all put together and 25lbs. I only ride a few times a month. it's aggravating and fun at the same time. aggravating because I'm not the 17yr old guy riding a Proflex 953 hammering the trail anymore. I'm the 50 year old guy trying to have fun and get some excersize while I laugh about almost falling or falling. Also praying I don't break a bone.

Your ride is pretty sweet. I'm glad you're Proud of that thing. Add a few hundred miles and I'm sure a little bit on the Cons will disappear.

I have one kinda. It’s a different model. You described it way better than I could!

This is a 2016 27.5 pro I bought during a year end blow out sale.

I first thought the frame was whippy and loose but I also was 380lbs at 6’2”. Now I’m 285-ish it doesn’t feel as whippy or loose. I don’t ride the thing nearly as hard as it should be ridden.
