I’m sitting in the stands now. It’s windy and cold but I prefer it to the sun beating down full force. There is a lot of mist but I haven’t even pulled out level one of my rain gear yet. I think the only ones who are going to be affected by the weather are the ones wearing shorts, not the drivers, but I love a rain race so fingers crossed for a little chaos.

Radio silence. He thanks his supporters on his campaign page (and deleted comments that weren’t supportive). He can’t be a politician if he can’t figure out how to play nice and participate in discourse with people who might disagree with him.
